The game has improved on many aspects in the monetization department, and you can easily get yourself going without spending much. If you are willing to spend a fair amount of money and truly enjoy the game play, it will probably be you're favorite game. The gameplay itself is a unique experience and is a fantastic time. The only thing holding this game back fully is it's price to get most of the cards/content.

Down to 1* as had to update and now when I try and connect it says 'Your account was used on a newer version of the game. Please wait for this device to update before playing'. I only play on this tablet, so if I have used it on a newer version it was this device! And as it sent me to the store to update, this device has the newest version! I've force closed, cleared cache and still can't play. So this last update has broken it for me, so has to be 1* (as won't allow 0!) until it's fixed.

Great game but the app is awful, downloads an update every time it is opened. Text bubbles not optimised, so they disappear off the screen Finally been fixed

Releases are buggy, but it's a good game. Bad release history is cringeworthy, but they balance and it almost feels like this recent pirate debacle and connection breaking mechanics were features and not bugs. Stupid release dates for products which aren't finished. There is a classic mode you could probably start with and there are free modes. Collecting cards would be crazy to start at this point in a card collector game, but I would love to have the money to go cold into Wild Format.

My Review: (Part 1/2) The mobile client for Hearthstone in general hasnt been the best experience for me. For one, I can have perfect conection to my router and still manage to disconnect from the game, resulting in a loss 90% of the time; it either takes too long to reconnect naturally, or it just fails entirely. Having this happen in arena feels even worse because that's one loss out of 3 and you paid 150 gold, more than the price of a pack for this and you need seven wins or more to profit.

I've played enough of Battlegrounds on PC to know that this can be fast paced for late game, and some strategies just cannot be fully realized or completed in the allotted time frame; any way to find out how get more time is almost necessary. Moving into the mobile version of the game, it's slower and buggier, and, for me, a total let down. I can't even log in half the time, in fact, I'm not able to log in now after being booted. EDIT: Game is better; battlegrounds is painfully slow mobile.

A terrible app for a pretty good game. It crashes, disconnects, or hits an infinite loading screen at minimum once an hour, usually more often. The actual game is quite fun, but I'd play it on PC.

A fun game when it works. On PC its fine but mobile has been having issues. The game is also pretty much nothing but microtransaction hell. I enjoy that there's new expansions often but the time between expansions doesn't feel like enough to get a grasp of the cards or for new players to get their bearings. Its like WoW. Fun for veterans but difficult to start for newbies.
