Reviews for WWE
I love all the content available. I think they should revamp the mobile platform though. Seems a bit dated and sometimes can be tedious finding something unless you know exactly what you're looking for. The only thing I really have an issue with is that you can only watch from your phone one way. It doesn't allow for you to flip your phone the other way for whatever reason.
There really needs to be a better interface for the roku and Samsung Tv apps, and definitely needs a fast forward/rewind 10sec, or 30sec, or 1min; because so much happens in those split second moments you miss entirely otherwise, and tapping on the scroll to rewind is way to far and almost defeats the purpose for me cuz I'll get really into the story and miss something kinda important rewind and then I'm not IN IT anymore and it's not as enjoyable, with a quick rewind I wouldn't have that problem, like watching any intense tv shows on Netflix or qhatever. Other than that the app works very well
On certain shows etc. you can't enlarge the screen on your cell phone to make it full screen so youre left with a 2x2" square to see in. defeats the purpose. there's no rewind or fast forward, no search option. you're stuck guessing where to skip to, or watching the full 2 hour feature. This app feels very rushed to hit market n not fully developed. hopefully it changes when i switch to paid membership but i doubt it. feels very generic bit definitely has a full library of options
love the network in general, but mobile app has gone downhill. have no problems with WWE network when I play it on my roku at home. however, between the constant app keeps stopping message, or videos not wanting to play for than a few minutes makes it suck when I'm working overnight and just want to watch some of the classic content, or catch up on nxt or the other network exclusives.
The videos do not rotate. There is no way to watch things in chronological order. Searching for specific shows or ppvs is slow bc of the amount of content there is. Scrolling to different points in a video sucks. The app crashes a lot. The home page spoils events from the previous nights shows. The app sucks. It could be heavily improved
I was totally looking forward to Wrestlemania 35 and paying for the subscription but the app kept shutting down, lagging and constantly rewinding the stream. It was not my network connection because all of the other devices had no issues during the stream (even after installing and running the app on a separate device and deleting/reinstalling on my device). Thanks for the trial but the problems I constantly had isn't worth paying for. Pro- App was very user friendly, good interface.
Terrific content, and have been a subscriber since the about Network's inception. The problem is error messages keep coming up that say "Video cannot be played", so the app has to be stopped. other times, it's "WWE keeps stopping" then asks for feedbak. It has been uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times, yet these glitches continue. Happens on my Android phone, Fire TV, and LG Smart TV. WWE should get these glitches and bugs fixed or the subscriber count will begin to fall long term
I just want to point out that (while the app is great and all) every time when I exit out the app in the middle of a match and leave it idle for when I return, it starts the whole show over from the beginning. PPV, NXT, NXT UK, and 205 Live are kind of hard to enjoy when I constantly have to keep track of where I left off. The "Continue Watching" is pretty much useless at this point. Think you guys could resolve this issue in your next update? That would be great.
it was perfect before this latest update. impossible to watch live content on PS4 now (it lags, freezes, buffers constantly then jumps back 20-30 seconds). Can no longer chromecast live shows, so left only with laptop, tablet or phone. Had to plug the laptop to my TV to be able to watch SummerSlam on my big screen without lags, constant buffers or freezing. Way to go WWE!! With the team of developers I'm sure you are paying huge bucks to, they really need to do better. One star until fixed.
The new update was well-intentioned, but it falls quite short. 1. The buffering. 2. The segment listings within a given video, such as matches within a pay-per-view do nothing. Glad you added this feature, v though! 3. When you reach the end of a pay-per-view, the final minute of video is covered up by the title screen for the following year's event. I'd like to see each event until it fades to black.
