Edited 10/07. Honestly, it turns worst every day. I hate use this app because it fill of bugs. Well this app needs some updates. 1) we need a button for stop the uploading, in case we made a mistake or something. 2) I need to add old videos to series and I can't. 3) recently I discovered I can upload videos from my computer but I can't add them to the series or creating a new one serie.. If you can fix those problems I think your app will be better.

Since 1 week, I cannot use the Swipe Up option for the stories to link my IGTV videos. It was all fine before, but now the option just does not appear. This was a very nice thing to connect the 2 apps, which was the goal of Facebook. Now it is simply not working, what makes the video platform much harder to access. I hope the company fix this extremely annoying problem.

Right now I'm unable to successfully upload a 7-minute video. Damn. Your scorecard on user experience is F9! One can't stop an upload if something goes amiss, or you simply change your mind. [Edit]: stopping upload is only possible when you disconnect internet. Really? 🤦🏽‍♂️ On some videos the comment, like buttons at the bottom right does not appear, that includes the ones on my page. What exactly is the point?

I always get stuck at "processing" when I attempt to add a customized cover photo. Also, once I get passed the "processing" part (after uninstalling and reinstalling every time) and I edit the PREVIEW view for the post on my main IG feed, it doesn't show my customized cover photo.. It shows a zoomed in portion of the video clip instead. I didn't have any problems setting a customized cover photo before..

can we have double tap to forward and rewind i keep accidentally doing it and the video gets muted everytime i leave and i end up missing a bit. and also accidentally slide to the next video when i want to slide down my notification shade. its either im really inept at using this or its kinda not user friendly. BUT competition to youtube is a really good idea. i like the idea and the app but ui could be improved and hopefully more content is put up on it :)

IGTVwas a great idea but they didn't know how to implement it effectively. Poor app, interface sucks, videos can not be played horizontally, crops the video and ruins whole experience no option to upload video as it is. Uploading takes several minutes and the major issue is, whenever i start uploading video, it terribly slows down the whole operating system. All the videos plays intermittently and the one you upload is also intermittent to viewers too.

There's so many bugs. When i search a tag and play a vid, it will be that same vid that will play even when i click on a different vid from other tags. Even just switching to the recent vids, that will happen too. In the end i have to exit the app for it to finally play the actual vid i was clicking on. And the auto rotate feature is very annoying too. Some of us watch videos from igtv while laying down on our sides. There's so many more points for improvement.

Can't find the required accounts to watch video on. The recommended section needs some drastic changes in understanding user's experience better. Currently, I can't find the required artist of my choice. Searching on Instagram works. If that works on Instagram, then it should work here as well. Why I can't find it?

I figured Instagram Stories turns your videos to trash so maybe this is the way to go but nope - it *too* severely degrades the video quality of whatever you upload. I don't know how you gonna compete with YouTube with this aggressive video compression. The UI is great and this app *could* be great... If only you could upload a video that wouldn't turn into a blocky mess.

App is not interactive at all! We need more options after posting a video: 1) like an option to 'archive the video' so it can be hidden in your profile. 2) option to add a preview on profile if we unchecked the box while uploading and vice-versa. What is the use of a whole another app for videos if it's just making things difficult?!
