Installation
When unpacking the archive with the file, you will be prompted to enter a password
- Download the XAPK installation application, e.g, APKPure or File Manager .
- Open the downloaded XAPK installation application and locate the downloaded XAPK file.
- Follow the instructions in the application to install the XAPK file.
- Allow installation from unknown sources: Go to 'Settings' > 'Security' (or 'Biosecurity & Safety') > enable 'Unknown sources' or 'Install from unknown sources' for your browser or file manager. On newer smartphone models, permission is requested when the individual file is installed and no unnecessary steps need to be performed..
- Install the APK file by following the on-screen instructions.
- Restore security settings by disabling permission to install from unknown sources.

I have been a prime member for years. I use to love Amazon. Recently though they have failed miserably. I pay a slightly higher price because it is " Prime" and I make it up on the delivery. Over the past 6 months I have had numerous orders with delayed delivery and they usually cancel the order just for me to reorder the same product with the same vendor to have it delivered on time. I am not sure what changed with Amazon, but please go back to the old way.
Pretty good, but I hate the design of the product page; specifically how the customer reviews are displayed on mobile devices. The filters and options should all be easy to see and navigate to ( at the top/start of the reviews list). The fact that I have to frustratingly scroll down and look for the "See all reviews" button is not good. The button is obscured by it's location, which is squished between two lists of reviews, and the color scheme. If this is intentional then I ponder why.
Keeps erroring out. Every time I have brought this app up for the past couple of months I get a picture of a dog and something says uh-oh, it looks like something went wrong on our end. Well how about you guys fix your end? I've reinstalled the app several times and it still doesn't work. Get your stuff together. EDIT: A month later and it still doesn't work right. Won't work on my phone for more than a few seconds, and I even tried installing it on my Chromebook and got the same result.
Watch out, they changed default setting to Subscription to sucker people into extra orders. If you select one time order & add to cart but open the item again before purchasing to look at something, it resets it to subscription even though already in your cart the way you want it. I caught this but others may not. Screenprint prices then watch over time. They increase the supposed list price just before sales to make it look cheaper.
I loved the app until about a month ago. At that time, and since, all I get are errors saying I cannot log in due to authentication. I've tried reinstalling to no avail. It's really annoying because I used to use it all the time. Any idea what the issue is? I only just added double authentication in hopes of fixing the issue, but no
I don't get notifications to the app anymore about shortly arriving or delivered deliveries. Drivers very rarely ring a doorbell or knock the door. There is an out-of-view place on our doorway, just most drivers don't think and they place packages in front of the door, clearly visible from the street. I haven't given unfavorable review about delivery, yet. Main reason is that Amazon's options for choices. I may have to use "unprofessional delivery" option. How much trouble there is to knock?
Calling the toll free number is a nightmare. No one is trained to help you and all they do is escalate it. You don't hear back for 24-48 hours and then it's only by email. My problem is that it's hit or miss for receiving Amazon emails. I have mysterious Amazon charges and they've locked my account. I also have missing orders from this past week. I can't get anyone to help.
The complete reload of the app based on location while I'm in the middle of shopping drives me crazy. Also, when looking at a product with multiple options, clicking on an option that is not default never loads the images. Also to look at your orders you have to wait 5-10 seconds for the page with a million links to load before the orders button appears. And now the super annoying Alexa popup every time I look at a product. They just keep making this app into a larger and larger garbage pile.
Stale app. Sadly, does not support dark mode. Order history has been shortened to 3 months from having a complete history. Having a full history to scroll through was very helpful in finding items to re-order and to see when items were purchased for warranty. Now you have to filter by year. If you cannot remember what year it was, it's much more difficult to search. Less useful. Very disappointed.
I don't know what they did in this update, but the app is terrible now. It's almost unusable - it kept saying they were experiencing errors when I tried to place an order after this last update. It took several tries. Now, when I try to check on the status of an order, it gives the "Oops, something went wrong with this page," error. It's been several days. I hope someone is aware and fixing this...I've been a Prime customer for almost a decade and have never had so many problems.
