Agree with all the reviewers who say that the app keeps jumping backwards in pages. If I get an alert from another app, go to check it and come back, put my phone down for a sec, or do pretty much anything, sometimes I'm 100 pages back, sometimes it's 80 pages, it's not even consistent in how it's screwing up. Then when I try to sync to my most recent page, that's never correct either. Sometimes it's BEHIND where I am when I do the sync! And bookmarks don't work either!

Until recently, I loved this app. Something changed, and now if I change the font, the setting doesn't stick. Worse, the app doesn't retain my spot in the book, it jumps back to previously read locations and I will try to advance and it just keeps jumping back to the previous location. I called Amazon customer service and they said it was my phone. I am on the verge of canceling my kindle unlimited and prime and going to see what other similar apps are out there. This is EXTREMELY frustrating.

As so many others have mentioned, the latest update has created so many issues! The most annoying is the fact it goes back pages when you open the app. If you click on the option to go to most recent location it takes you somewhere else. Click on it again and it bounces you somewhere different still. You can literally click on the same previous location and zip around the book click after click. Also, if you use the audiobook, it will randomly just close the app while using it! HATE THIS APP!!

Hate we can't purchase through the app anymore, but since the new update, it keeps jumping me back to an old page and freezes when I try to get back to the right page. It only happens if I switch apps while reading (say I get a text, for example). It's really annoying to have to keep closing the app and restarting it every time I go back to Kindle.

Since this latest update, every time I open the app it opens a different page. If I negotiate away from the app for a moment to check something, when I go back to my book it has flipped to a different page and will not let me open the page I was actually reading. It's incredibly frustrating. Additionally, the inability to purchase books through the app is rather ridiculous. If they could just allow us to at least click a link and open Amazon in a browser that would be somewhat useful.

I loved it until recently. Now every time I tap the page to reduce the size so i can do something else in my phone, it jumps back several pages or even a couple of chapters. Every time. If i try pressing the little bubble with the page number that i was on or at least close to, nothing happens. I have to flip pages until i find where i was. After the 2nd or 3rd time in a row doing this, i don't feel like reading anymore and am now hesitant to even open the app because now it's just frustrating.

This used to be an amazing app. It was flawless to the point that I never had to think about it. You never know how good you've got it 'till it's gone. Not only do I have the problem of not ordering on the app and pages jumping around. I no longer am able to switch seamlessly between an audio book and a Kindle book. While the app used to add relaxing enjoyment to my life, it now adds frustration. For the first time in YEARS I am considering looking for another app.

This app has been wonderful for a very long time. However an update a couple weeks ago or so completely broke it's most important function: the ability to keep track of where you currently are in a book. Every time the app loses focus, it sets you back anywhere from about 6 to 40 pages. I reported the issue when it first occurred.. no change so far. Hopefully bad reviews will get attention if nothing else.

Have loved this app since 2008. Not being able to purchase in the app is slightly annoying, but I could live with it. What I find almost unusable is the fact that bookmarks no longer work properly and it doesn't seem to remember where I am in the book. When it shows go back to a page number or forward to a page number, the go back mostly works, but the go forward does not work at all. I'm spending most of my reading time figuring out how to get back to where I left off!

I really enjoy the app. Yes, not being able to buy directly off the app is annoying but it is what it is. My frustration is that when you reduce the page, it jumps backwards in the book. Even when using the slider, it still jumps back. The only way to get to the page you were actually on is to swipe all the way back to the page and expand. Please fix this
