I have used storytel over a half a year now. I would give 0 stars, if possible. Because, you have actually managed to break the whole app suddenly? It burns out my phone battery, I have even force stopped the app, but it keeps crashing in the background. Now I have also put it to deep sleep to prevent it from spamming my screen that it has stopped working, because obviously I KNOW! Restarting my phone, uninstalling and installing the app did not help. Nice!

I got a gift voucher for the app. I installed it but couldn't use the voucher, I had to add a payment method.. Fine. Payed for couple of months and now when I want to add the voucher I can't because I'm already using the app and paying?!?!? Not to mention that the only way to (maybe) add a voucher us through the site where I was asked for password. But I never added a password because I logged in with my Google account. Overall books might be great but it's NOT user-friendly at all.

Storytel is the best audiobooks app ever and it is one of the best apps that I have recently used. There are thousands of audiobooks and hundreds of narrators. There are some good E-books, too, but you know.. the app is mainly for audiobooks so E-books aren't so many. Most of my favorite authors' books are available, and to be honest this is fantastic! I recommend installing Storytel.. I think its price is much less than what you get!

It was a great app used it daily multiple hours. Than the took away the option to filter category upcomming and current books and became a good app hard to navigate now this paid app just crashes on start up and is a worthless app. Tried restarting but crashes when you try to open the app

Top quality content Edit: 8th july 2022... Since yesterday.. I can't get the app to open.. When I tap the app icon.. I see a black screen for a split second and then screen is back to my home screen.. Hope this bug gets fixed

I was going to give this app a try because a recommendation of a friend and the interesting titles they have but the app is missing some basic features like changing the language of the application itself so I am stuck with German language just because I am in Germany. I miss also changing the interesting categories in my home page after registeration. Last point I think it's also expensive.

Negatives: -Many books are not "available in my area" -When you download a book to listen to it offline, you can only listen to an average of 1 minute, then it completely stops Positives: -Variety & books in English. This is also overshadowed by the limitations on what is available in your area

Great service, BUT I'm disappointed that I'm only allowed to listen to Dutch and English books- why not French or Spanish? And if a Dutch version of an English book is available I can't listen to a story in it's original language? That's just ridiculous. For the premium subscription price I'm paying expect to be able to choose which language i want to listen, and access the whole catalog. Edit: I do love the subscription service, instant 5 stars if more language flexibility is allowed.

The fact that your customer service complaints aren't a priority to you is utterly disappointing and poor. Especially to long-term consistent subscribers. Not only is your attempted response passive, but futile. The time you used in justifying your reasons for lack of swift response or my complaints and the duration of the contacts, should have been productive in actually solving the problem. You just lost a consistent subscriber, and many more will follow suit.
