Installation
When unpacking the archive with the file, you will be prompted to enter a password
- Download the XAPK installation application, e.g, APKPure or File Manager .
- Open the downloaded XAPK installation application and locate the downloaded XAPK file.
- Follow the instructions in the application to install the XAPK file.
- Allow installation from unknown sources: Go to 'Settings' > 'Security' (or 'Biosecurity & Safety') > enable 'Unknown sources' or 'Install from unknown sources' for your browser or file manager. On newer smartphone models, permission is requested when the individual file is installed and no unnecessary steps need to be performed..
- Install the APK file by following the on-screen instructions.
- Restore security settings by disabling permission to install from unknown sources.

It works sometimes. Recent updates have broken this app, sometimes you miss large parts of conversation or someone is talking to you but it doesn't even come up on your end. Also when trying to share pictures the camera will glitch out and will only let you take pictures and not share them from your phone. They need to fix their app and stop breaking it more with every update.
It's good when it works, but it's unreliable. I'm on Android, partner is on iPhone. Frequently when I try to send her a message, she never receives it until manually she opens the app, despite the "Keep Alive" option being on and her status being a green "standby." It's a frustrating experience communicating with nobody, waiting for a response that never comes.
