Application YI IoT was checked by VirusTotal antivirus. As a result of the scan, no file infections were detected by all the latest signatures.
How to install YI IoT
- Download APK file apps from apkshki.com.
- Locate the downloaded file. You can find it in the system tray or in the 'Download' folder using any file manager.
- If the file downloaded in .bin extension (WebView bug on Android 11), rename it to .apk using any file manager or try downloading the file with another browser like Chrome.
- Start the installation. Click on the downloaded file to start the installation
- Allow installation from unknown sources. If you are installing for the first time YI IoT not from Google Play, go to your device's security settings and allow installation from unknown sources.
- Bypass Google Play protection. If Google Play protection blocks installation of the file, tap 'More Info' → 'Install anyway' → 'OK' to continue..
- Complete the installation: Follow the installer's instructions to complete the installation process.
How to update YI IoT
- Download the new version apps from apkshki.com.
- Locate the downloaded file and click on it to start the installation.
- Install over the old version. There is no need to uninstall the previous version.
- Avoid signature conflicts. If the previous version was not downloaded from apkshki.com, the message 'Application not installed' may appear. In this case uninstall the old version and install the new one.
- Restart annex YI IoT after the update.

I'm happy
Worked good for about a week, it crashes so much, my phone tells me to put it in deep sleep. Camera quality is good, but this app sucks
The app updated in July is the best one, quick connect.
This is not helping me at all ((v
These cameras and app are a scam to get you to buy cloud service. They intentionally have warnings pop up stating the sd card is corrupted when its not. The camera has problems connecting, but these problems are all solved by subscribing to their cloud service. Constantly pushing to subscribe to cloud service. This is not what I want. I will never use the cloud. I don't even want my money back. Going in the trash. I will never buy Groowls or Gosund ever again. Dishonest company. Shameful.
I am using it to see what animal is coming up on my porch. Lol hope it's not a bear.
the app came with the camera, when it scans the qr code to connect it gives 'for non Yl lot devices the following content was scanned...
We have had the camera for about 5 months and we love it the pictures are so clear. Will definitely buy a couple more in the future.
Does not hook up, no English directions
Not bad at all just the icloud is too much money, should be like reasonable but other than that HD, sounds, motion work so good
