I use it on my Navigator V on my motorcycle, side by side with Google maps. As a supplement. For 7 years. It works fine. I have had no issues. I enjoy using it. Some places dont have a cellular signal. It does seem to use a lot of storage space. I have had no battery issues with it, but I connect to power when using gps.

While the app has potential it makes listening to bluetooth music useless. The music constantly breaks up and skips especially when navigating. Too bad. Update: Through some trial and error I discovered that I needed to have the hotspot on my phone off when using bluetooth. All works perfectly now. Great app to use along with the Zumo 396 LMT-S

Forged Everything

I had the same brainfart everyone else was having about this. Out of the box my Dezlcam was able to navigate and some of the features worked, but like a lot of these ratings are saying, the app would not connect. Then my techie kicked in and went "software compatibility issue" so I updated the device on my home wifi and my androids IOS and VIOLA, it connects flawlessly. Even has some ok features BUT (my reason for 3 stars), 4.99/mo for all of the useful features? NO. The device was 570 dollars

This app used to be really helpful, as a trucker it was nice being able to send exact locations to my GPS. Now when I send directions it wants to send me 500 miles in a wrong direction, or the app cannot handle the location given, or it simply cannot figure out where I want to go. It really needs to be updated from Garmin or do a hotfix to address the bugs and issues.

Positive: Traffic updates and re-routing options. Negative: Can't be turned off when not needed. It apparently does not stop when Force Stop from the app's properties is selected. The only option to kill it seems to be to uninstall it and only install when needed. Edit: My rating decreased because I have found out that this app drains my battery to 0% even when my phone is plugged in to a 12V vehicle charger. I had it running so we could get there traffic information.

One huge problem: memory usage - 12 GB of storage used!!! No reason for that as I rarely use the app and have traveled only locally with it. No way to see what the space is used for nor can it be controlled. Other features seemed to work okay though in my part of the world there aren't many traffic alerts to be found. I may reinstall this app if I use it for travel. Otherwise: DELETE until needed. (Used with a Garmin RV 760.)

Works fine for notifications and pandora, but the Advanced Weather option SUCKS. I purchased it at the start of a long trip and the subscription charged my credit card, but does NOT work. It keeps telling me within the app that I need to subscribe again. THIS NEEDS FIXED! I got stuck in the middle of a severe thunderstorm under a bridge for almost an hour because I had no ability to pull up the radar on my ride even after I "purchased" the Advanced Weather. Used on a Zumo 396 for motorcycle.

The last update on March 20, 2019 made the app unusable. The update included better Bluetooth stability. It got worse. My Garmin drive assist 51lmt freezes up when connected to this app. When the Garmin is not frozen, it restarts itself without warning. It runs smooth when I turn Bluetooth off. It runs smooth when my phone is off or Bluetooth is off on my phone. This app also kills my battery. I had to uninstall this even though I need the traffic for work. PLEASE FIX THIS APP!!!!!!

Uninstalled from my S9. I thought it would be convenient but it is not compliant. It just sits there trying to connect and can not be stopped. I tried to Force-Stop the app and it refuses to close, even with Bluetooth turned off on the phone. I should be able to stop it when I want to. The occasional use of the traffic part of the app isn't worth having to charge the phone more often.
