Box is truly one of, if not THE best of all of the popular cloud storage apps today. I use them all quite regularly—Box, OneDrive, Drive, Dropbox, & previously iCloud, which I found to be uniquely obselete after discovering the wholly better options available. My 1st day of using Box was what led to that. I uploaded 100s of pics from my old iPhone(8) to store while moving to my new Pixel 5—I was DUMBFOUNDED that it took me so long to start using Box & its cloud storage. Just try it, trust me ;)

A Google user

I love Box. I work in a field where I have to keep things confidential, which can make it hard to go between devices. But being able to access files on my laptop, work computer, and phone has made my life so much easier. Especially with the Bix drive that you can install on the computer. You have to be connected to a network, but you're able to access it just like regular files without opening your browser.

Piranha bones

The service is very nice. Cloud storage without weird, annoying and unnecessary steps and options. This app pretty much does everything that you expect a cloud storage service to do. That being said, there's a weird bug in the mobile version that doesn't let you open images. It will just refresh the app in an unnatural way. Aside from that, everything works fine.

This may be a niche to power users but I'm disappointed a feature I really like with Google Drive is basically being able to open shared links directly in the app opposed to the browser (which is the Box method). This is especially useful when you have several docs locally available for offline mode and clicking on shortcut links within other docs should open within app. Unfortunately I'll be switching back to Google Drive for now.

I've been at it for a quite a while with this app. I use it for work to record product packaging for clients. It's such a headache to get it to keep a recording or to even open up to record. It could be my Android or it could be the App but either way, I'm under the impression the App is created to function with any device that can download the App.

While the service itself is great, I installed the app to make a 5GBish folder upload go a little more easily. Only about half of the files have uploaded, all smaller ones in the group. The larger files keep failing and it didn't tell me until I tried uploading them individually that the upload size exceeded the upload size limit. It's small, something like 250 or 300 MB. All the files that upgraded successfully were smaller than that. Would be nice if the app told me that's why it fails.

If you use Box Notes, this tool will only frustrate you! I'm a huge fan of Box services in general, especially Box Notes but this app makes Notes almost unusable. VERY common to try an add text in Notes only to have existing text overwritten or deleted. Something as simple as cut, copy and paste is made torturously non-standard. They are not available via tap & hold and the first option in the toolbar is paste whereas every other application has copy first. I cannot say how many times I accidentally pasted over what I wanted to cut or copy. There is also no undo so you cannot even correct it if the tool experiences an error or you accidentally paste over something. While the Box app has been updated over time, the Notes feature has been excruciatingly stagnant.

Wrong SMS code error on new device when trying to sign into box app. No matter how many times I enter the code that I'm sent I still get an error that it's wrong. Submitted what I think is a support ticket but got no confirmation or response. Support site is comprised of community forums. Basically, box doesn't want to communicate with anyone and would rather have users solve each other's issues so they don't have to. I'm a box shareholder and will now be changing that asap.

This app was working fine until updated on Feb. 1, 2019. Then I was no longer allowed to login through the app no matter how many times I changed my password. I could login to Box on any browser but the app kept giving me the message " incorrect credientials" Using the " forgot password" feature, I changed my password 2 times but no help. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it but it still refused to allow me to login. Please fix this new update. Using a Samsung Tablet and phone.

I need to edit my review. the new update is so bad. I can't upload anything. somethimes the app can’t even connect. Though I have a fast internet connection. Other apps working fine but Box is not.
