Reviews for Email Aqua Mail - Fast, Secure
I have been using Aquamail since I had an HTC One many years ago. I really disliked the default mail app and the Google Mail app. After finding Aqua mail I never looked back. The widget is fantastic, the color scheme choices are fantastic. The interface is fast and smooth, and I love that you can choose the notification light color. This is highly customizable, and I can use it to check all of my email at once from multiple accounts. If you want to get things done, this is the app you want. ♡
I've been trying for some time to find an email app that would be dependable for full-time, day-to-day use. (I use a Samsung DeX setup for most of my work.) Aqua Mail is the first that I've found that actually fits this. Most apps that I've tried seem to be designed for just quick checks -- even the ones that boast compatibility with DeX. My one quibble is that the printing seems to have been given a bit less attention than other bits. The Pro version is great too, and totally worth the $20.
I purchased this app several years ago, after trying all the major players in the app store. AquaMail worked best for me. Considering I use it all day/everyday, the $10 is quite reasonable. UPDATED: Just adding that the developers are very responsive. I had a question regarding what I thought was the loss of a feature in the latest update. I sent a message via their feedback and received a timely reply that was very helpful. The ability to customize the slide-up menu with drag-and-drop is genius! My work uses Office365. Aqua Mail integrates well and is so much better to use than the Outlook app.
This is the email app I've been looking for. All the other ones I've tried suck. Mainly I was looking for maximum customizability. You can't go wrong with that! No problems or even anything to nit-pick so far. It feels like a quality email app, and for that I will pay up the premium fee. Brilliant stuff, I'm very satisfied! Edit: I had a problem which I contacted support with. They never replied but I guess the issue was fixed, I don't have the problem anymore. More communication would be nice.
Great app for email. Highly recommend. The only reason it's not 5 stars ironically is that it has so many features, whenever I need to make a change or adjust something, finding the feature can be quite a bear in the menu system. At least for me, there are too many menu items and the location doesn't always seem logical. Otherwise, an awesome app.
Updating my review to 3 stars for the most recent versions. The versions after version 1324 have dropped the per account customization of the LED. You can no longer choose the color for the status light for each individual account. In fact, you can no longer choose a color at all, for any account. They need to add this options back. Until then, I've reinstalled version 1324. Initial review... This is a solid email app. If you consider all the customizability, it is the best out there. The only thing I'd like to see is smoother slide actions. Right now the animation is pretty herky jerky. They need to look at Samsung's email app for what smooth slide action is. What is really nice is on my Samsung gear s3, it allows me to delete/mark read right from the notification on the watch. That's what I hated from Samsung. Their notifications only allowed the notification to be cleared, then you'd have to go into the mail app on the watch and delete/mark read from there.
