Installation
When unpacking the archive with the file, you will be prompted to enter a password
- Download the XAPK installation application, e.g, APKPure or File Manager .
- Open the downloaded XAPK installation application and locate the downloaded XAPK file.
- Follow the instructions in the application to install the XAPK file.
- Allow installation from unknown sources: Go to 'Settings' > 'Security' (or 'Biosecurity & Safety') > enable 'Unknown sources' or 'Install from unknown sources' for your browser or file manager. On newer smartphone models, permission is requested when the individual file is installed and no unnecessary steps need to be performed..
- Install the APK file by following the on-screen instructions.
- Restore security settings by disabling permission to install from unknown sources.

this is the best app to use when you want to record a call. I've tried most all the other call recorder apps on the play store & non of them record both sides of conversation. This app records both sides, it's very clear, so clear you can hear everything going on in the back ground as well & you don't have to turn it on every time u want to use it records automaticly. It doesn't change any of your phone settings or have any of them annoying add pop-ups like most apps. I highly recommend this app.
I've been using this for a few weeks now, and it's perfect for me. After tweaking some settings it runs unnoticed without using many resources. Recording quality is great. There are a ton of options to customize what is recorded and how. You can configure which calls to record or ignore. I have used it to retrieve confirmation numbers that an automated system read way to quickly, and to refresh my memory on business calls during projects. Files transfer easily off my phone for archiving.
This is one of the best apps I've ever used. it's the best of the full-featured call recorder apps, and deserves 5 stars. The developers take it very seriously, and have work-arounds for the pending US Government interference. It's exactly as advertised. I went through several others, which would not record the other party. Here, it's all crystal clear, with optional notification. I can even send a copies of the recordings. I'm tough to please, but very happy with this app!
Android 9 "Pie" (ugh, what an awful name) took away various native methods and workarounds that previous version's call recorders could use. In fact, even this app warns me about that on startup. However, somehow -- and I haven't the foggiest how -- the app works fine. It sounds like a recording of a recording, but somehow it picks up both my voice and the caller's voice without much issue when I'm using my headset. I haven't tried any other way, but my hearing's bad enough that I generally always use the headset. Good app -- works even when it's supposed to be broken.
The best of its kind. I swear by it. Anyone having issues with this app should contact support. They are excellent and get things corrected promptly. At one point, Google had changed its policy on this kind of app, but fortunately they listened to us and changed back. Though the whole time, these guys were helping with workarounds. It's proven to be exceptionally reliable and saved me in quite a few situations (ex-wife threatening violence, et al).
This wonderful app provides users with a sense of security that is hard to find these days. It's impossible to keep up with every little detail of your livelihood and even your life without being able to immediately access vital information. Being able to keep recordings of important calls is immeasurably helpful. The transcription capability is like an extra dose of hot fudge on an already amazing sundae! Thank you, NLL, for a simple, user-friendly app that's always got my back!
This app works really well. I've used other ones but was very dissatisfied with them. The only thing this one lacks that some others may have is picking up the caller ID. When I browse thru the recordings, I wouldn't know which calls they are by simply looking at the names. Other than that, the recordings are extremely clear.
The app worked well for over a year. Recently it stopped working and shuts off without warning and does not record my phone calls. This is a major issue when I really need to record an important call. I have to manually restart the app when I realize it has stopped working, which is daily. I will have to search for an alternate call recording app.
The user interface for the app is not too friendly. Almost every time I am listening to a recording, I hit the rewind arrows and it mistakenly registers as hitting the beginning of the recording's status bar. This is incredibly annoying, as the you loose your place in the recording, and the recording start playing from the very beginning. These buttons need to be bigger and spaced out more! ! !
Call recorder only works when WiFi calling is off, but that is not the issue here. The issue is that the voice on the other end of the call is very faint, and FAR from ideal for playback. While it records your side of the call very clearly, you're basically only able to playback your side of the conversation, making the other side of the conversation almost unintelligible.
