Reviews for Call Recorder - callX
It's popping up its interface after each call. I set the "before" and "after" call popups in settings but it still shows up. It's terribly irritating because if I'm in a meeting where calls are rapidly made and received, I have to deal with their F* interface instead of paying attention. It's a for amateurs, not people who work for a living. POS. Deleting it.
Just downloaded and have had two calls, one I called out and one I received. Both calls started recording automatically which is good, but when listening to the recordings, I can hear myself fine but the other person, the sound is so distorted and static, you can hardly hear what is being said. I was using the hands free option on both calls, so not sure how it sounds w/o. Needs work...
I actually really love this app and how it works it can record every call coming in or outgoing or you can set it up to only record specific contacts in your phone. then it saves it to the app or you can have it sent to your email. You can share it as well. recently I am having one small problem and I'm hoping to get it fixed so if anyone here knows what's going on I'd love to know. the call sounds very staticky or muffled I've tried turning the volume down are there any other recommendations
Definitely Records all calls. The only thing I would say needs improvement is; the caller tags reading as Private(Please fix that). When I initially downloaded this application I did not have that problem. Also not being able to record conversations via headphones (which I want to be able to do) is a bummer. The best quality recordings are those kept on speaker phone and not everyone has the privacy to do so. Overall it is a call recording application and it does just that.
An App that took a wrong turn some time ago and has now driven off a cliff. I've had this app since early 2014 and have thousands of calls saved. Sound quality was always an issue, but, what WASN'T an issue...was that this app always recorded when it should, always both side recording, and always showed the phone number of the recording, placement ads only(no video), and very simple UI. The app I have just described no longer exists. All those "pros" have evaporated. The app is useless now. Junk
I was worried because the first time I used it I thought maybe it didn't record the other party because I had my bluetooth on but later I recorded a call using the speaker phone of my phone instead and it recorded both myself and the other party clear as day. If that is all you need you may as well just use a voice recorder app that you can turn on at will. However this is nice because of all the other features especially not having to remember to ever hit record because it auto records.
I would give this 5 stars, however, there are some annoying features I can't get rid off. After you make a call, a separate window pops up and asks too about the call, and this screen is also where the advertisements are. It's annoying that after every call this pops up and I have to manually take another step to make it go away. If there is a setting to turn this of, I'd give it a 5 star review.
I tried all the settings every which way I could and not one call I made was recorded correctly. You could not hear the other person on any of the calls. If you say anything after the call was disconnected it records you in a separate call file. The strangest call app I've ever encountered. I've had them on all my HTC phones with no problems. So I'm uninstalling and finding one that really works!
App worked fine the first couple of days then lost functionality a few days later. I could not play back anything that it supposedly recorded, and when I was able too before it stopped it would only play one side of the conversation, mine. App does not work as advertised. I have no time for this nonsense. I will delete immediately after this post!
