Installation
When unpacking the archive with the file, you will be prompted to enter a password
- Download the XAPK installation application, e.g, APKPure or File Manager .
- Open the downloaded XAPK installation application and locate the downloaded XAPK file.
- Follow the instructions in the application to install the XAPK file.
- Allow installation from unknown sources: Go to 'Settings' > 'Security' (or 'Biosecurity & Safety') > enable 'Unknown sources' or 'Install from unknown sources' for your browser or file manager. On newer smartphone models, permission is requested when the individual file is installed and no unnecessary steps need to be performed..
- Install the APK file by following the on-screen instructions.
- Restore security settings by disabling permission to install from unknown sources.

I've used ZA since it was a ZoneLabs product (former Team-Z member), found it reliable in its many forms, with few glitches. The developer response to the very occasional times that something interrupts ZA's smooth operation is rapid, plus I've often found their online response for help requests to be timely and accurate. Back to 5 stars once more!

Uninstalled it. Wasn't informed of having to pay for anything until after I installed it. Don't mind paying for things just be upfront about it.
I was hoping to use this app to reduce my risk of privacy leaks on my phone by blocking any outgoing data I don't specifically authorize. To my shock I cannot use the app unless I agree to Zone Alarm Privacy Policy authorizng them to transmit my personal information it gathers from my phone back to Check Point Software Technologies, Inc. The app allegedly doesn't collect data, so I shouldn't need to authorize them to collect anything I don't specifically share. I won't authorize data collection.
