Reviews for Automatic Call Recorder
I installed this app because of its high rating. I granted every single permission requested. After installation I tested it in both the receiving mode, and the calling mode. It worked on both. I never changed a setting, did not close, nor stop the app. I then made a very important call regarding a return where the company was being extremely slippery. Upon completion of the call I went back to the still open app and only the first two calls were there. I trusted and verified and it still failed
This app is almost perfect. There's just a few things that need improvement. One issue I had was when I tried using the "Excluded numbers list" feature. I added a friend there whose calls I don't want to record. However, the app keeps recording his calls. I wish this feature would work because a lot unnecessary calls are being recorded, which creates clutter & takes up space on my phone. Second, I would suggest adding a feature where we can select & delete call recordings from a specific number.
Like others have said, app used to be great call recorder. Then in June 2018 the recording volume dropped significantly, barely able to hear my voice, and even worse the other person. Thought this woud get fixed, but 7 months later, still no improvement. Also, I never was able to figure out how to delete old calls automatically after x months.
This app doesn't record my calls. Had this app for years, and it worked great. About 1 year ago it stopped showing calls phone numbers, just has the word " null". Yesterday I needed to listen to a call, tried to replay it and nothing. Most of my calls are on speaker, and even those, no recordings. Just deleted this app. I don't recommend anyone to waste their time with this one.
It was cool at first but I am beginning to see a lot of problems with this app. 1 it is hard to hear the other person while recording is on and mostly picks up my voice or if the other person can be heard it is very low and barely hear the other person. 2 I wish the number would save with each recording it will be better to tell the difference in recording. 3 play back is hard to hear even when the volume is on high. Needs an option to have it play via speaker.
I used this for about a year on my LG phone and it worked great, just got a new Samsung a71 5g, and now it doesn't work at all, it's set to record calls but doesn't, it lost all compatibility with this new phone for some reason. The ads are way more intrusive now as well, I understand you need to advertise to offer a free program, but show me an ad when it starts up that I'll sit through once, having pop-ups every time I press a button to move between menus or settings is too irritating to use.
This is a great app thats does what it's supposed to do. The only problem I've had so far is that when I play the recordings back it's hard to hear the other person, the volume is low even when my volume setting on my phone is turned up. Also the calls automatically record for both incoming and outgoing, I'm going to see if it's a setting that I can turn off. Other than that it's a useful well functioning app.
It's a really good concept and it's great to go back on yout recorded calls, but it doesn't record all calls!!!. Also it did an update where you cant see the phone number so if you are looking for a call you'll have to really remember what time and date that call was made or go thru each and every phone you made. Disappointed because this was a really good app before.
This app is easy to navigate around and has some really cool features. The option to have calls saved to my sd card is sweet as is the option to create black & white lists. The only thing that kept me from giving "5" stars was the way calls are displayed ie. no identifying phone number, just the word "null". I'd come back & give "5" if I can fix that glitch.
