This app works very well for detecting the video I want to download and downloads it FAST. At times the app will not find the video (mainly when there are multiple ads on the website) and I have to either find it on a different website or use another downloader app. I like that when you close the app, tabs made stay opened like chrome, but just recently it had closed my tabs out of the blue, and seems to have a limit of 6 tabs. In it, everything has it's own section and makes it easy to locate.

I tried a few apps to extract audio from an internet video--'How Tos' and lectures. It seems I am stuck with first having to save the video and record the audio from it. For the first step, this app is by far THE easiest. You paste in the URL of the video and start to play the video. Then you click on a little arrow and boom, it downloads the WHOLE thing, start to finish, from beginning to end, even the part that had already played. This is an ultra easy app to capture/download videos from web.

I use it to get memes from certain platforms that don't have an option to do so natively. And for that purpose? Phenomenal. It's even fast enough to where I can get it to download a video before the link forcefully redirects me somewhere else, which is fun. Makes me feel like I'm outsmarting a dev somehow. Oh and there are adds very occasionally, but you can instantly close them out, and they're scarce enough that it doesn't hinder my experience at all. Anyways, good app in my experience. 5/5.

Intuitive interface. Takes a few minutes to figure it out but it runs well. Intrupted downloads restart easily and a log is kept on the finished page. The app will then play the video from the finished page. Easy. Ads are worth putting up with when phone data speeds get throttled way down. Just download the vid then play back without buffering. Great app.

This app is awesome. Extremely easy to use, very little ad disruptions, detailed options for desired download quality, and progress meter for real-time status. You can also pause the download. It downloads ANY video I've tried so far, except I have not tried you tube yet. This is a must have if you download a lot.

This is just for downloading, not really for playing and youtubers need to look elsewhere. Usually works fine, can have three going at once. Looks like a regular browser with tabs, can be used that way. Has all the features, history, bookmarks, etc. with the added feature of the download spot at the lower right. It sometimes will refuse to download, everything is paused. Hit the square box, wipe it off and restart. Rarely, it needs the unit restarted, hasn't refused to download after that.

GuyWire

It's the best video downloader I've used. It works for virtually every site. I only wish it had a pro version and dark theme. This with 2 more things would = 5*. I really need an option to set a max number of simultaneous downloads. I have to have many tabs open and download every video manually one at a time. Lastly, downloads lose connection if I switched to another app or did anything outside the app. I had to give it unrestricted background usage. I look forward to more features later.

i really enjoy the app and use it very often. The two things I feel that could make this 5 stars is 1. the ability to move the download icon around or make it a tab. It gets in the way of some web pages, and I find that to be annoying. The second thing I would add is the ability to clear the download list. That way, videos that have already been downloaded disappear and the video list isnt cluttered. I hope you take these updates into consideration.

The only action that Ive gotten from this application since downloading, are ads! Lots of ads. I understand the fact that you guys have to make money. Ive never had an issue with ads, especially if the application is worth the trouble. But in this case, Ill never know. Each time I hit the play button, my system freezes. I had to," hard shut down" my system twice. Its just ironic that the ads play flawlessly, but the game want run at all. Im uninstalling!

Used to work like a charm. Hence two stars instead of one. No longer able to pull any videos. This used to be the go to for hard to download videos but no longer the case. Websites that it used to easily pull from are no longer able to recognize a video source. That's too bad because layout is excellent. Now about to delete app right after I post review.
