The features of the band and App are nice. Since installing the app, I now get random ads that pop up on my phone screen at any random time. Whether or not I have any apps open. I know it is from this app as it is the first app I have installed in well over a month and I never had this issue until I installed the app. There is not even an option to turn off the adds. I"m uninstalling the app tomorrow. If issue goes away after taking app off, I'm returning the band. Not impressed.

Fortunately for me, I had purchased two of these things. Trying to pull off the band to charge the unit, the piece you need to charge the unit came off and that was the end of the first one. The second unit charged, but would not work on my Samsung note 10 plus. No matter how many times I tried to sync with my note 10+, no way and no luck. I had to use an old phone to get it to sync. Just like you, the sleep 💤 function has never worked.

Just got this hardware and app today, will update review as I use it more. The app is decent, updated my firmware no problem, no issue with settings. It does want lots of permissions, but the hardware I have does have options for call notification, text notification, and a number of other things, so the permission requests don't seem out of line for that. Not sure if this app works with other fitness devices that don't have the same options, so unknown if it will request appropriate permissions or if it just blanket wants everything. I have not had it long enough to see how it does with storing data. First gripe I have with it is that it doesn't integrate with Google Fit.

Terrible, the watch stayed synced to the app for a few days. But no more. The watch is paired on Bluetooth but its not "bound" to the app. I even tried turning it off, uninstalling the app, let it sit for an hour, then reinstalled the app, paired the phone....but it still won't sync, or "bind". Completely useless for keeping a history of steps or sleep, which is what I was looking for. Useless! If I could give negative stars I would.

So I've had the device for a year or more. At first the app sucked, badly. I lost connection all the time, it didn't really work and made my phone slow. Now it's great, at first launch it found my smart watch, keeps track well. I do think adding a tab to make it a little easier for history browsing. Overall I consider it to be a good option rather than pay 100 for a fitbit. Does more, brighter screen, battery last 5-7 days.
