Reviews for SHAREit: Transfer, Share Files
It was a lot better than just Bluetooth sharing, however, the last few updates are worse, it's harder to connect with anyone not like before, because now their are many steps too. And now, you can't view here videos from your SD card, like before using shareit when watching videos is very convenient because of its features. Edit: I did not say I'm not satisfied,😅
This app is so convenient before, but after several updates there are a lot of changes and it became inconvenient to use. The first thing I noticed is the photo that being sent did not display in the album and it is not being seen in file manager either. Also, I always bombarded with unnecessary notifications.🙄
Been a user of this app since years and it delivers. Very fast file transfers and good features...i haven't really used them all though. Lol Never the less great app when transferring file from mobile to mobile or android to ios. Mobile to pc or vice versa might have some pairing challenges but works after getting them connected.
Love It! There isn't a better app than this. 03-31-2021 - I wrote that back before whatever it is that Shareit has evolved into. Because of the ads it has become difficult to get file transfers started. I understand you have to monetize it some kind of way. But, please don't sacrifice the user friendliness for the money. I can't even transfer the apk between devices anymore.
Because I don't understand why it's supposed to be such an excellent app to transfer apps, data, files, etc. I don't want to update it! But had it for a while. Maybe it does work better than AT&T mobile transfer and Samsung Smartswitch...? IT PROBABLY DOES AFTER TALKING WITH SAMSUNG TECHNICAL SUPPORT FEB 12, 2022 BUT I WOULD NEED HELP, I DON'T UNDERSTAND ANY OF THIS. THANKS, GARY AND BRANDY
It's useful only when sending files to iOS devices. Otherwise just use WiFi direct. The amount of ads is just ridiculous. It's almost as if the app itself is an after thought. Even the buttons to actually use the app are super tiny. Just so they can maximize space for the ads. Which are very intrusive.
This is the best share ap that I have used. Most Android users have this app. It is simple to use which makes it the file transfer of choice for most i know. HOWEVER, the behavior of using data to live stream adds, and videos that the user didn't ask for is a huge problem. This will drive users to find different solutions for file sharing. One major reason for offline sharing tools like Share-it is the cost of data in much of the developing world.
I really love this file transfer app before, but after several updates geezzz this became the worst app ever. This used to be so simple yet very convenient to use. Only a few tap and you're done trnsferring files, but as of now it's the total opposite. It won't let my mobile phone connect to my laptop even if I followed all the instructions. Also, it's better if you'll remove that qr code scanning thing, it's so useless and a hassle. I still can't connect by using it.
It keeps saying that the connection is lost and keeps disconnecting, because of that I wasn't able to pass my project to another device to upload it(device won't allow account for some reason) so I didn't make the deadline. Btw the notifications are annoying. The extra unnecessary things are annoying as well. Like imagine a cellphone that also has a big self destruct button on the back. It would be annoying, right?
There was a time when I considered this app to be essential for any smartphone. Been a user since 2014 and recommended this app to everyone I knew. It was fast, minimalistic, intuitive. It was a great experience. But it all started going south since late 2018. The devs started putting in more and more ads. It's understandable to put ads but not at this rate. Then they started to make this app some kind of a video hub. Who needs that? It's a file sharing app. It should've stayed like this.
