Reviews for Seven Knights 2
The game has a lot of potential to be a fun game. The balance between auto battle and manual control in boss battles is very good, especially the suppression skill, it brings some of the lower grade characters to the light. However, the game is too p2w heavy and with very limited resources, it almost makes no sense to "waste" them on most of the lower grade characters.
The pc client makes this game so much better. The character models and animations are beautiful. Game progression is a bit painful, even from easy mode to normal has a huge power gap that will slow you down without alot of time or money. I hope to see some changes to the controls. Manual is a bit difficult to manage although much easier on pc.
So. I've spent about two hours "playing" the game. The pros? AMAZING graphics, smooth controls, interesting storyline, and fully fleshed out enhance, level up, reforge, pet, etc. systems to use immediately. Semi open world too, so that's a plus for me. But that's where it ends. Auto quest/combat system with the focus being on storyline, where it's pretty much a long string of cutscenes with some autoplay action mixed in. It just feels like I'm playing a light novel instead of a game. Not for me.
The graphics look great. The controls are easy to use and manage. My first problem with this game, as with others similar to it, is the auto play function. I can't stand that and usually delete those games pretty quickly. My second issue is with the amount of cut screens. I can barely take two steps before a cut screen with long-winded dialogue pops up. Let us explore and interact on our own terms. The game has huge potential, but I feel like I'm not in control enough.
Beautiful graphics, runs well, good amount of unlocks for F2P players. The game does like to just run auto but honestly it's a well done auto system. An interesting story and good cutscenes along with flashy top-tier animations make this game one of the better free games on the play store. The only thing I could say I don't like Is the characters voice lines when casting abilities. There seems to only be one per character. It's said everytime they use their ability, and gets a bit repetitive
The game crashes a couple mins after making a character selection on that loading screen. Loading screen also showing minimal information, black screen and only thing visible is the "Tip", which seems to always read the same each attempt. (Something about the story after the original 7 Knights.) That being said, I've cleared space, and allowed more memory and RAM to be available, while also turning down the visual resolutions of both game and directly thru my device settings. Any suggestions?
The battle mechanics are a bit wonky, the mouth doesn't really connect with the things the characters say, and the worst offense everything is so expensive all the packs are super pricy. I find this weird because they are very successful and can still earn a whole lot of money with lower prices. The worst thing is that things that you but with the in game currency are also super expensive, and it's hard to get it for free in game. Beautiful art though but the characters need to be more diverse.
