I used to like and enjoyed scribd because they have a variety of ebook and audiobook selection, but now not anymore. I have 88 unread books on my tbr, but when I searched for the ebook or the audiobook version, surprisingly, they're not on the list. Uninstall it again.

After three days half of the books I downloaded to read were "temporarily unavailable" until the start of the next billing cycle. After six days 90% of them were. I have 20 days left until my next cycle & everytime I download something to read it becomes unavailable. Technically I do have 'unlimited', but it's all Scribd exclusive & rip off titles. Also, even when have something downloaded I cannot play it without access to data. I went camping with no wifi. The downloaded titles kept buffering.

Thinking of subbing to Scribd for their offer of unlimited reading? Don't. It's a LIE. Just got to book 4 in a series and it's suddenly not available. The reason they give are BS because the date the book is set to become available again is the day after my next sub payment is due. Avoid Scribd is my advice. Edit to reply to their dishonest response: you literally blocked the next book in the series until after my next month's payment, that IS limiting books. I got a refund through Google play.

Posts people's work without their permission and refuses to take it down. Edit 7/6/23: sent an additional complaint to their copyright/support crew after receiving a reply. Let's see how long it takes for them to actually do what they need to in order to fix the issue 🤔
