Reviews for ReadEra – book reader pdf epub
Absolutely fantastic application that allows me to read all of my ebooks. Great design, many options that are perfect for self-proclaimed super users like me and more. I wouldn't mind if you made a one time fee no ads paid version. However, it's quite cool that it's free and there are no ads, but I hope you guys are getting enough money for the maintenance of this app to stay viable. Good day!
Out of all the other e-readers (Google books, glose, scribbed, etc.) this is the first one that allows me to change the words from sepia, to twilight ( a bluish tint that's SOOO easy on the eyes), to black and white. I love the layout of my library, and lots of choices in settings. I'm sticking to this app for future reading indefinitely.
The best reader I have ever used. You can clearly tell the devs put a lot of effort into making this as user-friendly & customizable as possible. You can +fonts from your system, save quotes, add notes, & even translate. It makes it easy to find ur docs by searching your phone & SD card. My only complaint about this is that all readable files are shown, many of which are system Docs. I wish there was a way to hide these from the list w/out deleting them (not sure if that's from list or system)
It's a reading app that works like all the other ones, except maybe a more particular one, just by the slightest. Some features don't really help with the actual reading part (e.g. the "To Read" and "Have Read" thing) and leans towards organization. It's convenient, however the app would be fine with or without it. Preferably with it.
I use this app daily. There's no problems or glitches or annoying ads. So far it's holding over 1,000 books. Very simplified to use. It's not in my budget to be able to use premium apps so I'm very relieved to be able to find an app so accurate with the app not holding my books hostage, saying I can only access them if I go premium. Which has happened with other apps. I'm very pleased with this app. I gave 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 because there's always room for improvement.
Surprisingly smart app! It can automatically find any readable file on your phone, even if it's zipped and catalog it. It also tells you if you have the same file in different folders and allows you to easily clean out duplicates. Better than Kindle by far!
I have been looking for a way to read novels on my phone, and this app has the features I want. It works well with epub files and has a lot of great customization settings like vertical scrolling and dark mode. The UI is straightforward and uncluttered. Nothing will surpass paper hard copies, but ReadEra makes the digital experience as painless as you could hope for. Unfortunately it doesn't have DRM support so it is not able to read ebooks from my local library, but that is understandable.
Recommended by a friend. ReadEra is my first ebook reader, so I don't really have anything to judge it against. That said, it does break words in some strange places in order to maintain full page/column width and I REALLY wish there was an option to sort books by author. It would also be nice to have a few more options for text and background colors. These few things don't detract from the fact that this version of ReadEra is very easy to use and free.
I find the app to be aesthetically pleasing, easy to use, and has not crashed on me yet. I also wish to not a few features I have enjoyed or found contributed to the overall experience using the app. Firstly I found, as opposed to other comments there is now a feature that allows you to go to a specified page number and book mark pages of now or importance, secondly I have enjoyed title page status of the percentage read and lastly that the default dark mode has worked well with the pdfs I used.
I love this app. I would love it even more if I could put a decimal in the series. Many authors write short stories or novellas between novels and number them 2.5 or even 2.1, 2.2, etc. In the app, the series are in numerical number except for these weird ones that just stay lumped at the beginning before the first book. Then, I have to look up where in the timeline they are.
