Reviews for Niantic Campfire
Great App
THANKS FOR SHOWING THE APP LAST WEEK ON START UP‐--------- please add: save meet up templates to easily add more events *group codes and qr exactly like adding friends *share catch card directly into groups
Great way to meet new people.
Being an introvert, it can be difficult for certain raids, but with campfire (and remote passes) it's so much easier I just got mega sableye from it.
Love it
Great app. Would love an update to include pokestops and power spots.
it was great, now it's getting like pokeraid. not too bad but lit a flare is an essential function for trainers in reginal area. don't make it too difficult for a quick chat
I can't use this, shows wrong locate every time... please assist...
not so useful of seperating campfire to the other niantic game specially Pokemon go. Just add all campfire features to pokemon go including the chat feature and it will be useful there. But don't get me wrong, I like the ability to join and host for remote raid, but just make the pokemon go campfire more userfriendly. No one plays other niantic game aside from Pokemon go. Thanks
The apps great for remote raids but when I try to host a raid even if I'm standing right in top of the raid in game and irl it says I need to be at or near a raid to host so it's kinda messed up if love if you fixed this it would make life so much easier
When you can get into a raid that you want to do, it is great. However, you wait for a raid group, then when you join, the host will decline, or the host won't start the raid, or they start a completely different raid, then the one you joined. After all that, you get to do 2 raids in 3 hours, and you hit your daily quota. I haven't had any trouble as a host yet. I enjoy the map and the ability to see all the gyms and raids.
Potentially a good Pokemon Go companion app, but major need for certain adjustments. Distances for flare/photo notifications should be able to be set by users, since 5 miles in a city and 5 miles in the countryside are very different. Team Up should let you select the target Pokemon, should link back to Pokemon Go raids right awa. Friend requests should show you what mutually shared groups the requester is from, like Discord does. I'm giving this a 3 because it has potential but isn't great yet.
Filters could be better. Joining raids should be available based on what you are interested in doing, not just what somebody is asking for. Filters only work if you are nearby. Community boards for info would be nice (nearby nests, what pokestops have what research, a brag board, instant messaging is not so instant. Posts about 100% IVs are usually seen hours if not days after the fact) I understand the policy but at least allow restrictions functions to allow the community to improve the game.
Change the chat back to the way it was. This last update made it alot more difficult to navigate not intuitive. the interface is ugly and an eyesore.
Sucks Dingleberries...
