News Republic is an informational application that allows you to receive the latest news from around the world from the Internet through the format of adapted blocks for easy reading on mobile devices running Android.
Application Features
- The application includes repositories (sources that generate information) from all regions of the Russian Federation, as well as from near and far abroad.
- There is a possibility of detailed personalization: you can select only those topics that are of interest to a specific user (for example, if a person is not interested in politics from the word at all, the filter is configured in such a way that political topics pass by), and so on with all thematic sections, including sports, tourism, industrial, agriculture, IT-technologies, space, music, films, show business and so on.
- You can set alerts on topics of interest (in this case, the pop-up alerts will contain a short announcement of news releases).
- The mobile Wikipedia method in action: the more the user uses the application, the more accurately the program displays recommendations based on the range of interests.
- It is possible to use keywords to search and select articles on related topics.
- It is possible to add RSS of favorite sites, or blogs.
- The application takes information only from trusted and reliable publications both in the Russian-speaking segment and foreign branches.
The application is considered one of the best in the news segment and is time-tested, as well as reviews of millions of users around the world. However, the official development team recently (publication date mid-March 2021) announced the complete end of support for the app without giving any reason. So since March 2021, the News Republic app has been removed both from the official Chrome store and from official sources (the client can still be downloaded from resources like PDA), but due to the client's inoperability, this does not make any sense (news blogs have stopped updating and, in general, the server capacities to which the repositories are tied, information sources have ceased to function at all).

Application News Republic was checked by VirusTotal antivirus. As a result of the scan, no file infections were detected by all the latest signatures.
How to install News Republic
- Download APK file apps from apkshki.com.
- Locate the downloaded file. You can find it in the system tray or in the 'Download' folder using any file manager.
- If the file downloaded in .bin extension (WebView bug on Android 11), rename it to .apk using any file manager or try downloading the file with another browser like Chrome.
- Start the installation. Click on the downloaded file to start the installation
- Allow installation from unknown sources. If you are installing for the first time News Republic not from Google Play, go to your device's security settings and allow installation from unknown sources.
- Bypass Google Play protection. If Google Play protection blocks installation of the file, tap 'More Info' → 'Install anyway' → 'OK' to continue..
- Complete the installation: Follow the installer's instructions to complete the installation process.
How to update News Republic
- Download the new version apps from apkshki.com.
- Locate the downloaded file and click on it to start the installation.
- Install over the old version. There is no need to uninstall the previous version.
- Avoid signature conflicts. If the previous version was not downloaded from apkshki.com, the message 'Application not installed' may appear. In this case uninstall the old version and install the new one.
- Restart annex News Republic after the update.

I found this app thanks to the 99 cents a year special. It's been my go-to news feed for a long time anyway. Now, I'm getting server busy errors, and content is missing. I hope they fix this soon.
Used to be my go to news on Tech etc app but it changed a while back so haven't used it since
Can't uninstall I cannot access the news app. Server Error. When I uninstall it gives me a choice of loading the system news app. Which is this app. It would be fine if it worked. It just gives me a server error.
