It's fun, not pay to win, really. No matter how good your team is you soon have strong competition. The problem is that the AI is waaaayyyy too stupid, and it gets frustrating. It would be a 5 star game if you could predict who you will turn into and if the AI didn't just stand still around attackers and loose balls. Great idea, well executed, with some problems.

Game play is fun but the game predetermines who is going to win each contest. There are times when the opposing defense is so suffocating you can barely even complete a pass or the opposing keeper makes incredible save after incredible save regardless of the level of the player. The results can be different in a rematch against the same team when suddenly the keeper misses easy saves and their are suddenly holes in the defense. Very frustrating.

Do not download. Game tempts you to spend. Once you do, you'll get to a point where you level up to about 5 and then you can never win. Team is always better than yours, even when playing on lower levels. Their players are faster, can slide from far and tackle you but you always miss the slide or get called for a foul. Your goalie can block everything before you level up, but then after, he can't block anything. Game is a scam.

Overall it's a really fun game & I enjoy my time. I will say, penalty kicks to win the game in a tie is horrible. The computer wins almost every time because it can react unlike a normal person. Also, it really sucks when one of my players just stops running & starts stretching when the opponent is about to score. Again, it's a really fun game, those are just two of my complaints.

Almost impossible to lose early on. I was destroying the competition with ease. And then game difficulty does a complete 180 around level 4. The opponents are suddenly 2x as fast and have more endurance. They start pulling off complex passes. But I then can't complete passes. Non-controlled players on my team simply stand by and bunch together when I'm on the attack. They do absolutely nothing on defense. Inconsistent gameplay that has nothing to do with your ability is incredibly frustrating

Edit: the game used to be fun till they messed up the matching algorithm. You always end up getting matched with teams almost twice your strength. Add to that the absolutely random and ridiculous player switching. For inexplicable reasons you don't get to select the players closest to the ball, especially when you badly need to select a defender to make a last ditch tackle.
