Used to make up lame reasons to hate MS. Despite not being deal breakers, all we're fixed.* The only ~real~ reason was price. But now, most services are free to some extent. Not only that, but at 7 bucks a month, you CAN afford office. When you include outlook, notes, onedrive (with storage), plus a fully featured copy for every device, it's a great deal. There are other office suites, but MS Office ≥ all of them. *Cloud infrastructure, Android compatibility, native Linux kernel in Windows!

I wanted an app that would let me easily edit, write, format, and do everything that an office suite of apps should. Nothing does that better than Microsoft Office. Perfect, professional, and peerless results every time. Nobody would ever expect that all of my documents are created and edited solely on my mobile. Thanks Microsoft!

The app is not intuitive. For me, I like privacy. And the app almost literally forces me to connect to my cloud accounts..... And sadly it doesn't have an easy way to delete files. Nor does it easily show if its a cloud file or something on my drive. (maybe have a different color for cloud files vs internal drive files. idk. I just use this app because word and excel are the standard norm. Wish this app was easier to use.

This app used to be handy, but they removed the ability to edit in mobile mode. So all the text is super tiny while editing unless you zoom in manually, which prevents you from seeing the entire line of text. The larger "read" mode does not allow editing, and the "mobile/print" mode toggle button no longer exists.

Any of these reviews above 2-3 stars are literally straight out of midnight infomercial "testimonials". This "app" is entirely useless from even the most basic of productivity angles. Its horribly unstable. It randomly closes files. Half the time it won't even open files and instead will just bring up the most recently opened file. It easily becomes unresponsive & glitchy. Simple things like copy and paste are nearly impossible. It has cluttered and entirely redundant UI features. MS quality 🤡

The PowerPoint is just too glitchy and unpredictable to recommend it to anyone. The text cursor keeps jumping between words as i type in a textbox making me overwrite previous words in that same textbox. It sometimes glitches when trying to insert a word from the autocomplete and just mixes words together and other random behavior. So frustrating to use. I expected more from Microsoft.
