Galaxy Reavers 2 - Space RTS

I started playing yesterday, and it’s great! The ships look great, the weapons are cool, and it’s a good experience! Some things I noticed are that the camera isn’t great, like the rest of the game. It needs better camera movement, and sometimes I can hardly see both my ships and the enemy ships, making it almost impossible to set up.

I mostly enjoy the game. And it has a lot of improvements over the first one, but sometimes the screen goes black and freezes up my phone to where I can't even close the app. I like that theu have a list of equipment now, more ships, and more slots on old classic ships from the first game. I don't really like that you have to be connected to internet to play. Maybe make it to where you still can do the main story line and the other stuff that's for one player to do avalible offline.

Pay walls? Slightly, not as bad as some and there is a definite advantage but its not needed. I love space ship shooting and this is it. It slows your progress so you can't shotgun the entire game in 1 day by a campaign and several different side missions/goals for upgrading. Pretty well paced for progress and the overall experience of the game is pretty decent whether you pay or don't.

Great Game, you dont have to pay to win. The level up pack is affordable and fair. The one thing I would like to see. Is either an increases in our Stamina pool or a reduction in cost per mission. As there is already a limit to how many times you can run a mission. The cost to pay for more is reasonable. But I would like to be able to play more. Even being active it only takes about an hour to exhaust all stam even extra purchased.

Galaxy Reavers 1 was a great game, who's only flaw was not having a cloud save option that let you save between devices. Galaxy reavers 2 has too many things going on, and none of them are as satisfying as the original. It's more work than it is fun, and more complicated than it needs to be. Dissapointing.

The tutorial is 33 minutes long. After you get done with tutorial High temps on a button behind a red notification on it to see what it was then then it starts up a whole nother tutorial for the button. In the tutorial you have to tap where it tells you to tap not even explaining what you're doing. It just tells you what you do without you knowing. I feel like the game could have been a good game but tutorial is too damn long and so damn picky. They need to redo the tutorial badly.

Refining my opinion again after more time. Previous point of the game playing very much like the first GR, with many features remaining the same with some additional features. There are some really fun changes, like Wolf Squad and Legion battles which allow you to use a larger fleet than just 4. BUT the fact that you have a ton of progression stops (stamina, weapon/ship powerup, shield, etc) PLUS the team ship cost limit, which was already annoying without the other stops, makes this very slow.

To me, as someone who played the first Galaxy Reavers, it's odd in many ways. First off, it strikes me as kind of weird that TBD created this and not Good Games, and this is also very different than the first version in many ways. There are grammatical issues, which usually I'm willing to overlook but the first game didn't have much if any, so that's an alarm that there was either a major change or another dev team made it. What I'm saying is that this might be a knockoff, not a sequel.

This is such a far far cry from Reavers 1, it is astonishing. Just got this, and being I played 1, I can see why I am overwhelmed with so many new events, options, and spectacular new tyle of graphics. It has an Anime feel to it in outtakes, and overall style with breath taking battles that were also the "Hallmark" of 1. Great jobs DEVS !!! this is a keeper !!!

Decent if you have patience and don't mind constantly being disconnected, making you miss daily events and losing out on rewards. You can be kicked in loading screens or in the middle of fights. Really frustrating for the game to constantly crash. Graphics and system are good but you can't enjoy it because of the multiple daily crashes, even with lowest settings. Really poor developers since the game has crashed constantly since launch.
