When checking out I asked for a receipt, my receipt was $448 but I paid $618 to Expedia. When I asked the clerk why such a big difference in price she told me probably commission on Expedia's end. I will never use Expedia again. I have found out, you are better off calling the hotel directly and booking. It's cheaper!! I only gave it one star because I had to, I wouldn't have even giver it a one!!

I like the app for the most part BUT i will say that it has slacked in the past couple years on actually finding the best deals. I booked a trip, but before paying, I called the hotel to make sure I could check in at 2am (i could). The hotel actually had a cheaper reservation so I did not proceed with booking on the app. I will say being able to bundle everything and have it taken care of in one space is EXTREMELY convenient, but again, sometimes the app has proven to be more expensive.

The app kept saying I had the wrong sign-in, and the wrong captcha answers. I kept putting same ones in because I knew they were correct. I was finally fed up with the app and was backing out of it, and realized I had been logged in but the previous screen didn't change. It just kept telling me my info was wrong.

Really need to make sure hotel information is accurate! Used Expedia twice, both times had inaccurate information. If I have to call the hotel for accurate info, i might as well book through them. It certainty would be worth a couple extra buck to know EXACTLY what I'm getting instead of finding out when I get there. First trip, traveled out of state, get to the hotel only to find out they hadn't had a pool in over FIVE YEARS!! Yesterday same thing get to hotel, pool closed OVER TWO & HALF YRS

I booked a few nights at a motel 8 by lake Huron about 15 mins from the lake. The price was $82 a night which I thought wasn't bad for a fourth of July weekend. After driving for a whole day to get there I was told that the price was now $130 per night for a one star hotel I called Expedia and they told me that that was the price I had booked which absolutely isn't the case and I tried to cancel they said if I cancel they will still charge me the $130 for the first night. So here I am stuck!!!!

I keep getting an error EVERY time I try to book on Expedia's app or website. I tried to call but couldn't get past a machine (since I don't have a reservation that I could type in). It's probably something stuck in my profile, but you'd think their app would have some error handling procedures to monitor for scenarios where certain users are unable to book anything EVER. ...so now I just use the app for price comparison and then I go book through the selected provider directly.

06/27/22 I have not been able to use the app for several days ...I get a message that indicates "too many requests" when I try to open. Extremely frustrating. Will not open. Used to love app, member for many years with no issues. Since its changed, locks up all the time and over last week, will not open on phone, locks up, screen flickers then goes white. Phone is 100% fine with all other apps. Horrible.

I've had this app for months and I've never been able to log into my Expedia account on it. Not once. Booking trips it automatically reverts to the app and then I can't earn/spend my points. Pointless when I have to go to the website anyways, and then miss out on the app deals. The sign in button doesn't work on literally any screen.

This app isn't with your time and doesn't give you any extra discounts as advertised. The app froze on me last week and I had to refresh the page. I didn't see that it reset the date from 7/23 to the same day when making a hotel reservation. A saw the error immediately and tried to cancel the reservation. Expedia claimed that the hotel wouldn't give me a refund but the hotel kept referring me back to Expedia as i booked through them. Expedia sucks! Don't do business with them.

You have a scam going on with your so called travel insurance. I used to be able to change my bookings with it and the only thing I had to worry about was if there was an upcharge on a changed flight. Not only have you revoked this but you charge an additional 99 dollars just to rebook even though I paid 30 dollars in insurance. The representative was extremely rude on the phone and do not get me started on how hard it is to go through the prompt in your phone service. Worst service ever!
