Reviews for Energy: Anti-Stress Loops
I'm loving the game so far. Love no in app ads, love the low key no pressure but u still gotta think thru it style. I even love that from one device to the next I can keep it at where I left off or start over. But I just hit level 100 and it feels like its plateaued in difficulty. I'm hoping that's not the case tho. If it's not, and it does get harder, then I will promptly come back and change my rating to 5 stars happily!
Game is good, I like the concept a lot. Very mellow but fun. The multi-level ads though are really obnoxious, hence the one star demotion. It's set up to where after five seconds or so you can technically skip it, but the skip button is hidden very small in the corner and if you don't hit it right away it disappears and you're forced to watch the whole ad. Then it might have one or two more screens for the same ad, ranging from 5-10 more seconds, sucking more of your time. A bit annoyed by that.
I appreciate the game being an easier, low-stress puzzle game. But in saying that, the difficulty of different puzzles is just completely random. There's no sliding scale of difficulty. The first puzzle that gave me *any* difficulty was 51, but then the ones after it just felt almost insultingly easier afterwards. And the game actually does this repeatedly. There will be a streak of 20-30 easy ones, and then a random one comes in that takes a while to figure out.
Highly relaxing and enjoyable. The music in the background is very nice, however the clicks of every turn of each part of the circuit breaks the ambiance of the mood the developers are trying to create. You have the option to turn sounds completely on or off without choosing music versus sound effects. This may just be my version for my phone, but I have the latest version for Samsung. Until then, it's all sounds off for me so I don't get to take advantage of the beautiful music.
