I like it a lot. I've compared it to other apps and those are good too, I just like the style of this one better. It hasn't made a super dramatic difference to my life, but I do feel sharper and I think it does stretch some old mental muscles that I've been neglecting.

used to play it 4 years ago but quit due to the mass of ads, thought i would try again to see if this got improved and safe to say its gotten worse. and no i do not want to pay whatever 1 percent dicounted price to remove ads to play games that supposedly is educational edit: and how do you try to do that? keep shoving prices and ads on my face?

The number of ads make the free version virtually unplayable (it def has more ads than comparable "brain games" like Lumosity and Elevate). Now, you can't play if you aren't connected to the internet. I'm uninstalling because there are several better options available.

The app in general is great, I love the games, they're fun and varied. I even paid for a subscription pretty quickly (though more time to try out and test wouldve been helpful). The low rating is because the app is extremely buggy. When opening the app on Pixel XL I get a white screen for quite a while, at first I restarted the app, eventually o realised you just have to wait. Other than that, there's a problem with downloading assets. Several games need downloading first, but i keep getting an error that there's no connection though of course there is. Sometimes it even causes a crash. So I can't play these games for now. Will change rating to 5 when these issues are fixed. Other than that, I recommend being more encouraging on first plays. The app basically tells you that you suck at everything and compare badly to others to get you to play more, but it's not a good approach.

Misleading. Not really a free game. You get 5-10 minutes of game play every 24 hrs. If you want more you must pay for a membership ($5/month - $40/year - $100/life). The game play does engage your brain and it gives you a some stats, but not worth the download for me. It would be better if you were able to play a portion of the games anytime and the stats, mapping, and harder levels were premium stuff. Not great, but not horrible.

Its a bummer that the tutorials don't work all the time especially when you're learning to play the game the score they give you dramatically decreases when you have to figure out how to play all by yourself. it's really frustrating. After figuring it out it's fine and the games are really fun. It's also a bummer that you can't play multiple times a day unless you upgrade to Pro I'd like to play more than six quick games a day.

Peak provides many features that allow for you to see your progress in a variety of ways. There are many games to choose from which taps into different cognitive areas. However, changes in the game themselves is nonexistent, and adding new games is rare. After you have played the games for awhile, they become monotonous. Peak has developed a fine product, and taking steps toward supporting cognitive growth will be invaluable.

The concept is great, I love that you can choose different workouts that feature certain skill development as well as do general game playing. The stats provided are presented in cool visual formats that are fun to interact with. Downsides: some of the games don't work at all (for example Baggage Claim which I have never successfully been able to play), some of the games are glitchy (for example delayed loading in memory games, making it hard to play) and some categories have only 2 games.
