Reviews for edjing Mix - Music DJ app
Legit amazing app, I'm a musician and I use the app for mixing and recording my tracks with effects added. Wide range of effects, as well as the record option to save your mixes make this app the bomb. There's the ability to pan from one track to the other, mixing the levels, as well as effects separate for each track OR the ability to sync the effects automatically! Also, there's a feature to hold an effect where it's at on the board, saving time and effort!! Love it 💯
Anyone complaining about having to pay 90 bucks, OBVIOUSLY doesn't have much production skill. I've used just the base version of this app since day 1, paid absolutely nothing (except maybe a couple bucks for the FX) and it has done nothing but help time and time again. No tutorials?? No problem. Try just being innovative. Most DAW don't even come with them. It isn't supposed to be incredibly easy or everyone would do it and everyone or no one would be famous. Wonderful app. Do reccomend.
if you're looking for an app that can automatically mix songs and adjust their bpms, this is the app you've been looking for. the UI is just a little bit clunky and sometimes mixing is hard to do, especially when you need to keep two songs at a specific time measure to sync them. i find myself hitting play and trying to hit the sync bpm immediately afterward, which is a little annoying. the addition of a setting that lets you hit both at once would be helpful, but other than that it's a good app.
There's many similar mixing dj aps that claim to be free. Mostwith nearly identical layout as far as the interface goes, but so far this is my favorite. Has small extra features you don't find in the others, the controls are more functional and smooth to run compared to the others I have tried. Recording and the effects come out clean. It asks if you like adds kinda often but doesn't cram the sale down your throat non-stop, I didn't get irritated or have production delays due to pop-ups either.
The latest update is cool and fun. The downside is for me I find with the new waveform color is it's too rich in color for a handheld device to manually find your mix cue points without using the sync button. Maybe while developing using a much larger scale was very easy to find your cue points in the waveform but in the smaller handheld version it's very hard to find depending on what music you're playing. I guess. Perhaps larger brighter whites would be perfect to find your cue points?
Basically you have to get the paid version or the ads make it pretty unusable. The amount of ads is bad enough- constant interruptions sometimes 3 in a row. Then the timing (a popup during my mix recoding are you serious?!?) This is after having to watch 7 or 8 adds to even get to that point. Nearly none of the effects are included just flanger and echo, and finding the sound files I want to use is difficult. Years ago I loved Edging, it was the best free choice of similar apps not anymore.
Everything about it is great until it closes unexpectedly. You'll be in the middle of a perfect DJ mix and it'll close in the middle of your mix. I would have given this app a five stars if it was more stable. I'm not using a old cheap phone of any sort I have a Galaxy 9 and it should work properly. I literally love this app except for the fact I can't finish a project in an appropriate amount of time cuz I keep having to restart the app. Blown
Tries to get to your phone to ask $20 per month! This was intended as a semi professional dj application, I wanted a simple tool to change the tempo for sing-along. It suggests 3days of trial with ads and then asks for money. There is no way to permanently buy the application. The usability on a small screen is questionable, I used Tractor program on PC and it was sooo much better. There is no slider for pitch or tempo change, and controls are not intuitive and convenient. Uninstalling now.
THERE IS NO OPTION to use a restricted version dispite response from support. Not free at all. Period! False advertising. I couldn't even open the app without entering a credit card number for 3 day "free trial", which I did not do. There was no option to actually try the app without entering a card number. That's not free! That is paying for a service and taking the risk that you cancel the subscription you paid for in time to be refunded. I wouldn't need a credit card if it was actually FREE.
When I downloaded this app, I thought I would've gotten a free trial with this premium stuff to try it out when they introduced me to it. Turns out this 'perfect game for a couple of years' is not perfect. Instead of a group, they're just a bunch of greedy people. You can't actually do the main part of this app unless you pay $89.99 every year! This app shouldn't be called 'edjing Mix: DJ music mixer' if it's just about "Give us $90.00 a year and you can play this app". It wastes your hard work!
