Reviews for Ebook Reader
Worked great until recently when android updated now it crashes constantly and sometimes won't open the correct book. Hope they fix it soon.
One of the most wonky, user unfriendly, glitchy book readers I've ever encountered. I only used it because I HAD to use it to read an ebook that was gifted on eBooks. I couldn't even (at least, simply and intuitively) port it to another platform. It's an app made for a captive audience and it shows.
Poor resolution of the cover of the book I bought, I genuinely cant make out what is depicted, that might be whoever made the Ebook, but still annoying. The app won't acknowledge my page turn unless I drag it from the exact edge. Those are my complains, I am coming fresh from using Google's Playbooks app. I could have bought the same book at the same price on Amazon and used the Kindle app, which is also better. Small things I know, but objectively there are better apps out there.
As a scholar, I prefer paper to e-readers due to comfort and familiarity. When a book was more easily available as an ebook, I saw it as an opportunity to experiment and was hoping to have a better time compiling my notes. The problem is that this app doesn't allow me to download my annotations and notes. It is not useful for research.
Downloaded a book set of six books and somewhere around 2nd or 3rd book when you go to Contents it is blank so you can no longer see how many chapters there are left let alone the name of the book you are reading. Worked fine before that. I was forced to delete the app and reinstall to get the contents back. But in doing this you lose all your notes and book marks. App needs a lot of work.
This app is in desperate need of improvement and quality of life upgrades if it wants to compete with ReadEra or E-reader Prestigio. It needs: - more in-depth settings and controls overall ability to change app storage location - Left-to-right swiping for manga - Expanded "grid" view of library
Utterly useless. I only use it because I have to for some books. The Contents does not work in the latest version and it is extremely slow when loading books.
