Reviews for Drivvo - car management
very easy to use. Keeps track of my fill ups, estimates wheb the next fill up is, able to keep track of oil changes and when the next oil change is. You can also plan out when to do routine maintenance on the vehicle. it also tracks on how much has been spent on maintenance and other expenses. Very easy to use. Ended up getting the Pro Version for a year which is well worth it. I would recommend!
Got a new car 2 years ago and was looking for a nice way to bring together maintenance records and other bits - too lazy to come up with a spreadsheet for this myself. Found and installed Drivvo and have been generally pleased with it. I have been diligent about capturing nearly all my refueling and sporadic bigger maintenance items (oil changes, tire purchases). The layout is pretty intuitive. Their big shining moment came, however, when I got a new phone and had to transfer/log into new app. I had some stumbles with this and Drivvo support was top notch. Had me resolved (via email) in less than an hour.
I have been using this app for at least 5 years, I used the free version for 2 years prior to purchasing the annual membership. The app is a fantastic tool to keep track of all your expenses associated with your vehicle customer service has been fantastic I have used them twice. It can be customized to your expenses, repairs, etc. Can keep track of your car loan payments so you can know actual amount you paid for your vehicle at end of loan. The more info input the best the reports worth the $s.
Great app for tracking car-related expenses and maintenance. You can keep track of things like new tires, oil changes etc. Also, track and get reports on how much you pay for gas, which it great! Note this is NOT a mileage tracker, if you need to log miles for work, you'll need a separate app. But if you want all your auto stuff in one place Drivvo is a great app.
It's good, but there's a lot of room for improvement. What I like: I can track vehicle maintenance such as tires, oil, vehicle repairs, etc., and get a feel for what the vehicle's actual cost per mile is. I love that there are reminders I can create. What can be improved: why is there no overall fuel economy average? Also, It would be great if I could create recurring reminders, by odometer and by date (check oil levels every 1000 miles, check tire air pressure every week, etc).
It's not a bad design. Could use improvements. My main concern is that you can not use tenths of a mile in the odometer space. Developer responded saying it's on the to-do list. Your app has been out for 8 years... How do you calculate accurate fuel economy with no decimal place on your odometer and how long is this to-do list that you can't add it in 8 years? I'll come back when the developer has implemented tenths on the odometer and re review the app.
Says it can import data, asked for a file the first time I ran it, but I didn't have the export from my old phone. After getting the export I can not find an option to import. So they sent me a document to explain how to import my old data. Turns out I had to delete my truck, uninstall the app and reinstall and start all over again. Yeah, that doesn't deserve more than 1 star.
Just a bad app. Calculations are inaccurate when filling up at the gas station; setting reminders by mileage/date comes late even though I've logged events AFTER the specified mileage; does NOT backup to Dropbox or drive. You can pay premium to export to a spreadsheet. Find something else to use unless you're okay with bad calculations and want to be stuck as a lifelong member. If you ever want to change apps later, you have to pay to leave, or start completely over with a new and better app.
