Installation
When unpacking the archive with the file, you will be prompted to enter a password
- Download the XAPK installation application, e.g, APKPure or File Manager .
- Open the downloaded XAPK installation application and locate the downloaded XAPK file.
- Follow the instructions in the application to install the XAPK file.
- Allow installation from unknown sources: Go to 'Settings' > 'Security' (or 'Biosecurity & Safety') > enable 'Unknown sources' or 'Install from unknown sources' for your browser or file manager. On newer smartphone models, permission is requested when the individual file is installed and no unnecessary steps need to be performed..
- Install the APK file by following the on-screen instructions.
- Restore security settings by disabling permission to install from unknown sources.

This is the best way to get a larger current temperature on your home screen than what you can get with Google. It involves a little trial and error, but you can see the first draft immediately on your phone and then go back and tweak on it a little bit if you want, as many times as you want. I tried probably 10 other apps similar to this one and it wins hands down!
Great interface and very customizable. Unfortunately, although the task widget initially shows my Google tasks after set up, it does not sync any new tasks or changes that I make back to Google. Syncing does however work in the other direction (changes to Google tasks do show up on widget). 5 stars if this can be fixed.>>>Thank you to the developer for your response. Five stars now⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This app *was* working fine. The most recent update has totally broken the calendar feature. Calendar events show up fine in preview but not in the already placed clock widget (Flex 6x5) or any new widget once they are placed on the desktop. Not having issues with any other widgets (using Nova Launcher). Edit:Clearing cache/dalvik cache and rebooting seems to have done the trick. Thanks for the suggestion which sorta pushed me in the right direction.
I love this app. It's great having news and Reddit feeds right there on my desktop. The backup and restore feature doesn't work very well, which makes it a pain to set up on new devices. Rarely ever copies over the feeds I add manually, and I can't see the urls on the working device because they can't be edited, so I can't use that as a reference to manually set up a new device. Please fix one or the other, preferably both. Thanks!
Chronus has a great Weather Complication. However, it doesn't seem to pull the proper information for the "Feels Like" Weather Info. It would be great if it could be looked into, thank you. Since the recent update, I realize that the Update Job is not working. I have it set for 30 mins, but at times, it doesn't uodate unless I manually update it. I have the app battery unrestricted, and it is allowed to use the Location all the time, on a Samsung S20 FE.
While app functionally is ok & it has almost everything I want & need, the design & UX leave a lot to be desired... It would greatly benefit from: a fix for the missing moon phase icons, more/better organized customization options (give us the ability to: remove weather and calendar text drop shadows, change dialog box corner radiuses, option to color match the widget weather icon to font text, and ability to better customize weather text weight+font!), & slimmer widget margins!
I would give this a 5 star rating except for the fact that at least once per day the text size of the widget changes to real small text from the larger text that I had prior. Such a hassle. Not worth it. Looking for something better. This only started following their most recent update. Appears they destroyed an otherwise nice widget. Yes, I have upgraded to the pro version. Only made it worse.
Edit: I've been using calendar widget for years. Now after adding 2 calendars' events neither show up even though the calendars themselves are selected to show events. Everything read leads to just a simple "it's a google api thing" which ultimately is not very helpful." After posting the above review, and giving this app 3 stars, the developer wanted me to contact them, which I did. After a review of the logs sent, the conclusion was....surprise surprise...google api. Cool.
Pro version. Weather is a waste of time... Geolocation does not work reliably. Tapping to get weather details has stopped working. Does not update the time when reconnecting to network. Refresh does not work even after restarting the phone. A few years ago it worked OK... Now it's a a nice looking but useless GUI.
Using the PRO version on android 12:Weather option is crashing a lot, even with 30 min refresh time it doesn't do it and taping refresh has no results. The clock doesn't work well when It comes to alarms it shows some random hours. It has only android 8 + style... We are at 12 and it doesn't look anywhere near the current android. I can carry on but it sad to see such good app being neglected for so long.... Waste of money for the PRO version (I wish there was refund). I hope it improves..
