So, first I tried touch screen controls. Pressing two buttons at once was unresponsive. But then I tried a razer kishi controller. Long story short, it's a beautiful game with a nice explore loot kill bosses loop. I had a great time with it. Played it non stop for 3 days. Adding a controlled turned my 3 star into a 5. First time playing the game. Btw, shield rod plus alucard shield trivialize the last part of the game.

I have never been so disappointed with a game in my life. Heard a ton of great stuff about this game, but playing it on mobile is a nightmare. Maybe if I bought a Bluetooth controller or something this would be funner, but the on screen are a disaster on my phone atleast. Was really lookin forward to this game, but I refuse to play it like this. Terrible... terrible excuse for a port..

About as good of a port as you could expect to phones, however there are a few problems. First off, it's not the original VO, but instead the Dracula X Chronicles retranslation. This is fine, but it's boring compared to the campy acting and infamous translation of the original. Secondarily, the game's speed is tied to frame rate, so if your phone is above 60Hz, you're gonna have to limit those frames in your phone's settings to get the most accurate gameplay experience. Otherwise, a solid port.

As far as ports go this is about as good as you can expect for a mobile game. The touch controls work as well as you can expect. It can make things mildly frustrating in the heat of combat. I do like the speed keys for spells once you unlock them. It does support a Bluetooth controller which is nice but features such as the speed button for spells can't be mapped to it. Only bug I noticed was in the beginning when the music glitched out when I paused. Beyond that worth the $2.99.

They changed the cut scenes, and voice acting. The original was corny, but made sense. This one is just wrong. There should be an option to hear the original. I also wish I could personalize the button layout and location. The stock configuration is awful. If it wasn't for the history I have with this game, I would demand my money back because of the button placement

The ending dialogue has changed, Dracula no longer quotes the Bible. The controls are fine but could be improved. It would be nice to have cloud save as an option. It's nice to be able to play as Richter and Maria in addition to Alucard. Works on Android 12. The form of mist is difficult to use but the low reviews are wrong you can progress and finish everything.

This game plays great on the phone and truly is one of the best games to bring over from the ps1. The biggest issue I have with it, is that it has the newer voice acting and not the older ps1 voice acting. As a player of the original, the old voice acting is very nostalgic, although it wasn't amazing. If an option was introduced to change back to the old voice acting, this game would be a 5 star easily.

Edit: Luck mode and AXEARMOR mode both work. Only issue is bad translations. This may be the best port of this game and this coming from someone who has played it on PS1, emulators, and the PS4 port. Runs incredibly smoothly, the control scheme is fantastic, and the new menus are just *chef kiss* The original corny voice acting and end-credit song are gone, but they are only found in original PS1 copies of the game anyway. Play this absolute gem of a game if you haven't.

Not bad. It's not the PS1 version so the voice acting is different. The controls are okay but being able to resize and move them would be a very welcome (and in my opinion), much needed addition. NOTE: If the clock room won't open for you (you won't hear any ticking from the clock), save the game at a save point, exit and load FROM THE SAVE SLOT. I had this issue and it will impede game progression. This is a work-around but is a bug that needs to be fixed.

I was expecting this to suck. I really was. Not only did it surpass my expectations, it proved that it might be one of the best ports of this game. Based on the Dracula X Chronicles, this port retains all the benefits added in that version, and it feels perfect with a controller. The touch controls are okay too, and they even have the brilliant spell button to make casting Soul Steal at the right moment a much easier task. That's not even all, but I'm reaching the word limit.
