Reviews for X-Wing Flight
Is the best game I've played on mobile. I think things should be spiced up a bit: - How about adding a Multiplayer - Adding E-Wing and K-Wing for the Rebellion and Z-95 Headhunter, V-19 Torrent Starfighter and V-Wing Fighter for the Republic. - Perhaps a bit more abilities added such as evasive action, like pressing a button and the fighter does 3 flips towards either the right or left or perhaps downwards or upwards depending on how you move the stick. - Give the Y-Wing more weapons
This is a legitimately fun game, and responds well to touch controls. It's simple, straight-forward empire exploding fun. The only suggestion I would have is to add music to the levels, it would add a lot of atmosphere and make the game a thousand times better even though it's already really good.
Red 5 standing by! This game feels SO right. It really captures the essence of flying the craft from Star Wars, much like Rogue Squadron, if a little simplified for the mobile platform. Slightly less wobbly enemies would be nice. Seriously, they're like using the Force or something. But what's really missing is a genuine story mode or missions.
Great game - plenty of levels, dynamic gameplay, challenging but rewarding - all in all it's amazing. I would like to see a Death Star II level where you fly through the vent (a bit like the trench run already in the game) and have to destroy the reactor core and fly out again. Again, a great game and I'm looking forward to new content!
I thought this was going to be an awful clickbait rip off, full of MTX and advertisments. Completely wrong, this is a really fun little arcade xwing game, scaled back for phones. I say "little", there's a lot of levels and both republic and rebellion era fighters and levels. Extremely fun to play in short bursts or over long periods of time. Oh! An the advertisements are instantly skipable for me, not sure if Its like that for everyone, but I like it!
Reminds me of the good old X-Wing game from early 1990s. Much better graphics, simplified controls and much less complex missions. But still fun. However, the new Republic mode seems to be buggy: in mission 10 ( on planet's surface) I get slowed down to almost zero velocity, but still manage to take down the required number of federation droids. Same experience in mission 11 but the landing crafts which I ought to destroy never appear...!? I got stuck...
Very good game. I have been looking for a good mobile game for a long time and I think I've finally found it. For a mobile game this is incredibly impressive with realistic 3d models and textures. There are 5 second ads every time you go to the menu but due to them being so short they do not bother me. The only issue I have is there are clearly some translation issues that need to be resolved. Other than that brilliant game especially if you are a fan of the X-Wing and tie fighter series.
First off the game is really good, but when you first play the controls are terrible. The first thing you should do after downloading is to go into settings and turn of inverted controls (inverted controls are fine in flight sims but don't work as good in space games), then turn the sensitivity down, then your gonna want to turn off joystick, because this game works best with tilt controls. I like that if there is a planet nearby you can (sometimes) go to it and see the surface.
There's no loot boxes, or anything to pay for; the game isn't constantly begging for money like most mobile apps, and although there are quite a few adds, I don't mind because they're placed after you complete a mission, so they don't feel like they're stopping the gameplay. Also, the missions are super fun, and they get gradually more challenging, making each mission more satisfying to complete than the last. I'm very happy with this game.
The graphics could be improved, but otherwise this is a great game. The controls are simple and the levels get more challenging the further you get. A few ideas for those editors- maybe add a version or mode where you can be against the rebels as an Imperial ship, and also add planet battles, including walkers and cannons. Thanks!
