Reviews for Food List Tracking & Shopping
Very helpful and easy to use! I wanted an app to help me manage the items in my house (pantry, freezer, fridge, storage, medicine cabinet, etc) and it's been great so far. The free version gives me everything I need, but I'll definitely take a look at the Premium version, as I can use product images to show what I have more easily.
I tried several of similar apps to see which one I liked best. This one was immediately intuitive for me and the options I want. Simple but very customizable. And fast. I made the main categories for freezer meat, freezer veggie, cheese, bacon, pantry, etc. Then I made Color coded folders for things like soup, condiments, beef, chicken, etc. And there are many ways of sorting within those 2 main filing systems. Scanner remembers my items after I name them the way I like. Scanner customizable.
I really like this app. We used the free version. Its almost perfect for us. You can create different lists, which works well for us because we have a main pantry and a basement pantry. Good customer service. Quick to respond; always helpful. It would be 5 stars if there were a bit more functionality. For example, you can't export your lists or update your email address. But, you can add another email/user in the paid version. The barcode scan didn't work for us either. Still love it though!
I am using the free version and it works well . Easy to scan bar codes and usually has the product in the data base. Still in the entry /organize the pantry stage. I do like it reminded me that something was expired (microwave popcorn not going to throw out yet). To take things out of inventory and not put it on your grocery list is cumbersome ( and maybe I haven't used it enough to know the easy way) . Over all a good tool.
Simple and clean app. Well laid out. Would like to see a few fixes and improvements so I emailed the developer. I know this app lacks an on-line barcode database, but many of them have issues with accuracy and grammatical flaws so I don't mind creating my own. Would be nice to add pictures to your products (either camera or images search).
This so far is working really well and I enjoy being able to break down everything easily. Only con is not being able to add pictures without paying, and I don't know how to change the date input(if you are starting out get the spin dial so you don't have to click a million times for something with a long expiration date.)
Fantastic. Love all the options and layout, especially being able to upload the pictures. Had to uninstall due to personal efficacy reasons. One being it would take me hours to inventory my large pantry and the paper/pencil/markdown system that I currently have is simply easier and more convenient for family members to use rather than to reach for my phone everytime someone takes something out of the pantry. The app concept is great though.
Me and my wife have been paying the subscription fee for quite a few months now, generally we've been fairly pleased with it.. Recently I received an email notifying me that that the subscription rate is going from 2.99 a month to 4.99 a month.. that's per user. I will not be paying this amount, I will find a different app... I could live with a slight increase but this just seems greedy.
Don't bother with the free version. It's constant full screen ads with sound make it unusable. I really liked the app until the latest update brought the ads. I spent hours setting up and using it only to be forced to uninstall it and start over with a different app. I would even pay to stop the ads but not 4.99 endlessly per month.
The app was great until they implemented the most annoying ads that sometimes requiring waiting twice and clicking three times to dismiss. It is super annoying when a stupid jingle plays while you're trying to shop or when you forget what you were going to add to your list after jumping through all their hoops to get around an ad.
