I love this game, I've played it for over a year, and have beaten it all, but still like to play. Recently though, it has been crashing a LOT. And is super frustrating. I wouldn't recommend anyone downloading this game, the crashes make it unplayable. If it was running correctly, it's a great game, but until they actually fix the issues, save your money, and your sanity.

The game keeps crashing when out on scavenging missions. It makes this game unplayable. DO NOT PURCHASE! *Edit: I reached out to 11 bit studios tech support via their website and this was the reply: "Regarding the issue with the game crashing. If possible, could you please send me a log with the crash? It may not be the easiest thing to do, but it is the only thing that will show us what exactly is happening on your device when it crashes."

This game is really great but it crashes occasionally I love the game but there are 2 issues. The first is that I have to go to the play store too play the game because it is not anywhere in my applications. I have a Pixel 3 XL running Android 11. The second issue is that it sometimes crashes. It's not often but it is annoying to lose a day of work when it happens.

When This War of Mine originally came out on PC, I spent many, many devastating hours trying (often in vain) to survive the horrors of war. I was surprised to see it recommended but... I actually prefer playing it on my phone. Its incredible how well it plays... the gameplay/controls are intuitive and the art/ambience of the game does not suffer at all. I look forward to more customization options (especially since my love of Marko cannot outweigh my irritation with Bruno)

I just bought the game today. I already know the game is great from previous PC playthroughs. When I saw the sale I thought I was getting a great deal. Instead I payed for what amounts to a black screen. The game opens up fine but then just goes to a black screen. I tapped on the screen and it registered a button press which means it is definitely functional but not visible. Not even worth what I payed for on sale. Edit: It's been less than 24 hours and I can't even get a refund on my purchase.

This is one of my favorite games of all time. I played it on my computer using Steam a few years ago and when I saw it in the app store, I just had to get it. It is very addicting, challenging, and immersive. The little details like character bios and random rotating conditions, like weather and available scavenging locations, add a nice touch and keep the game fresh. I highly recommend this game.

Game was running beautifully for a little while and then, out of the blue, my people can't eat any canned food. I send them to the fridge to eat it and the orange circle starts but never finishes and the canned food stays in the fridge. That canned food is, in my opinion, kind of important. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game to see if it helps. Will update later.

Definitely a challenge; and although can be frustrating at times, just keep at it bc it's really worth the entertainment. I wish there was a storage expansion available (like finding a larger backpack or craft one) and previous saves can be accessible. Just be aware the music and slow game play may inflict an actual down feeling but just change the radio station and start a new game.

I really like this game, but the text is soooooo small on a tablet! I tried mucking with accessibility setting, but none actually helped. If there was a way to increase the text size, that would change my rating from 4 to 5, as that's really the only draw back. Works beautifully on an old Samsung Tab A

Game is good, but doesnt save my progress. I have to keep crafting the same items I got before like the radio and chair and metal workshop. Now of course, they're basic crafts. But it's frustrating to have to keep rebuilding it. Does the game have an automatic save or you have to manually save it yourself?
