The ads are tolerable for the most part as they don't impede gameplay all that much except for the beginning/end. The app has a supposed "Offline Mode" but it doesn't even let you play it for five seconds without showing a pop up that has says the app is having trouble connecting and makes you "retry" to connect to your internet, and it doesn't even paise your game to let you know, so the pieces are still moving. This makes it impossible to play when there's no internet service even available.

Solid tetris play you know and love with good additional modes, major downside is having no ads being a temporary thing and it's locked behind packs you have to purchase. So many other games only charge $2-$5 for PERMANENT no ads. The ads are egregious at times and I don't want to pay $75 for 1 days worth of no ads. Edit: To top it all off, I found out there's an event going and I can't access it. Tried to update, reinstall, etc. and nothing.

Way too many add and there too long. I have been a long time Tetris fan and haven't played this version in months because of the ads. EA you need to realize that there is a balance between add revenue and ads driving the players away and this time you are way over the line. Thank you for your consideration.

Controls are better than I expected. Although it isn't very straightforward, I eventually figured out how to more the pieces the ways I would like on mobile. The reason for the 3 star is the ads. Every. Single. Time you start a new game an ad pops up. This makes the game difficult to enjoy, because it's easy to misdrop and want to restart. I know ad revenue earns them money, but I also know that makes a lot of people not want to play. You also cannot play even single player without a connection.

Too many ads. I downloaded the game, signed in with google play, clicked on play tetris and it showed me an ad. Never even played the game. I uninstalled it purely on principle. I love tetris. I truly understand the purpose of and don't even mind the ads but at least let me play 1 game before you start shoving them down my throat. I'm pretty sure it was a fluke and won't happen to others but in my current mood, and sure you would agree, that was just rude.

1 handed control is nice but can be finicky, adjust the sensitivity down. 2 handed control available. Sooo slooow wasting time with servers and won't load with a dns filter bashing its business, but airplane mode gives you a clickable option to play offline- loads much faster. [Was looking for the EA version I used to have but ended up with this instead. Found EA Tetris on apkmirror but it's bricked as of 4/21/20 unless you perhaps change your date and got rid of the update it launches.]

Who doesn't love classic testris. Would give 5 stars but not a fan of the controls. Touch screen controls can be frustrating particularly when the game speeds up. Also blocks don't always turn thru all the posibilities depending on where it's lined up. Also noticed falling blocks will just disappear in the middle of the game. Ads are also ridiculous.

LET ME PLAY OFFLINE. I pressed the option for offline mode when Tetris couldn't find a connection and I started playing the game. Every 30 seconds the game is interupted by a screen saying Tetris is looking for a server to connect to. This would be annoying itself but the game continues in the background and I have to press the Try Again button repeatedly to make it go away. I don't care if my score isn't recorded or I'm not receiving achievements. Maybe I just want to have fun on a car ride.

I've always loved Tetris. These ads are so obnoxious. They almost feel like a punishment. Like, force me to watch 5 seconds before I can skip. Fine. I'm used to that. These ads require me to do 3 different taps to skip. Do you really think that will make me want your product more? The best you'll get is an accidental tap, which I quickly back out of. The game itself is good. I wish you could move a piece faster, without slamming it down. A lot of times, they spin when I'm trying to move them.

My rating has nothing to do with the gameplay of the Tetris, but with the single most obnoxious ad system I have ever seen. Tetris is the perfect video game and this is Tetris. In this version, though, every single game starts with an ad that requires three separate clicks to remove to get to the game. And the ad removal is MONTHLY. You have to pay five dollars A MONTH to get this game with no ads. I am not paying $60 a year for Tetris. This is total money hording nonsense.
