The game is very nice and retro. Definitely reminded me of the old arcade games. What irritates me is the constant ads. When you complete a level, you have the option to get more coins if you watch an ad or to continue. Either way you get an ad. That is some EA garbage right there. Let me skip the ads if I want to or just give me the bonus coins regardless since I am seeing an ad anyways.

Transparent cash grab based on nostalgia. The game barely exists and is merely a few seconds of swiping with an ad after every single level. No option to skip ads and no single-payment ad removal (only a weekly subscription). These days I'm happy to pay a couple bucks to remove ads or unlock a full version of a game. I am not willing to shell out money for such a low effort waste of my time.

Ok usually when people say 'there are to many ads' I dont really bother paying attention to them. But this time it's really true, most of the levels (at least in the beginning) are really short and for some reason after every 2-5 second long level, I have to watch a 10-30 second ad. Ruined the experience for me and I ultimately uninstalled the app.

Over the top ads! This was my favorite game as a kid and it still has some of the nostalgic feeling. Game play is smooth and still fun. BUT, the levels are all super easy in the beginning, only lasting 10-15 seconds each. And there is an ad after every level. So many ads that you are forced to either pay the $3 to stop the ads or quit playing all together. I QUIT!

WAY too many ads, too frequently. There is an ad after every level. Even if you opt not to watch an ad for a bonus, there's still an ad just to continue, and every now and then you get double ads; not one after the other but one that starts in the middle of another ad that have to watch in order to finish watching the first ad just to be able to continue playing. It's pretty pathetically and crassly designed.

Entertaining & fun to unlock all the avatars. Initially, the game glitched when I tried to select a new avatar & again later at a boss 90 or 100 lvls in, my 'bert refused to move & the screen would go to black (music& effects still playing). After trying a bunch of times, I was able to get it to work. The ads were annoying when online, but thankfully didn't play w/out data. This game also seems to go on forever: good if you're looking for a distraction, but not if you want to beat the game.

Addictive stuff, especially for fans of the original arcade game! Pro tip: To advance the levels quickly, don't bother tapping the word "continue" at the completion of each level. Just exit the app and restart to begin the next level. Sounds contrary, I know, but you skip all the time-consuming nonsense in between and you actually save time.

Loved Q Bert in the 80s so I was excited to download this one. Like the other comments, the ads are incessant. Also, the game doesn't really get any harder. In the arcade version there are many more levels you have to change to multiple colors. The levels on this one are super repetitive and not very challenging.

Seems to be a decent game. Not overly fond of ads, but, i can manage. However speed for this game sucks. The small(er) levels move a bit faster, but, overall the game is sluggish. I think its deliberately and artificially slowed beyond a reasonable limit, and so the level end animations just take too long to play. Being an arcade type game, it should move rather quickly, not sluggishly.

the game itself is ..good. cute, and stays faithful to the original graphics. but the constant ads, and the popups asking you to remove said ads (that you have to wait 5 seconds to deny) are annoying. also, this game is very laggy and slow on my phone. considering i have a quite recent phone and have never had trouble running even the most extravagant games, it's quite annoying.
