Very cool app, and by cool I don't mean neat, I mean FREAKIN COOL! Anyway, I gladly payed for the annual plan. I'm currently using it to keep notes on my collection. I'm excited to use it during the summer when I see a plant that peaks my interest. Being able to quickly figure out what something is via picture is mind blowing. Currently I have no qualms at all. It functions the way someone reading it thinks it should!

This is what technology should be doing for humanity. This is a game changer if you like to be outside and are into herbal remedies. I tried another app that gives 20 or so different results but this one gets it correct on the first picture everytime. The ads are annoying but its worth it honestly. When i have more than $1.97 in my acct i will be purchasing this for sure. Only reason i gave it 9 stars is because i still have to google more background info on things. This app is amazing though

I've had this app for almost 3 years now. I love using it to help me plan my flower beds and garden. The information I can find on anything I take a picture of is just awesome. It's been great as a starting point with knowing what plants can be used for medicinal purposes. I enjoy taking walks and finding different plants I like the look or smell of and taking a picture to know what it is. I can add it to a folder in the app for when I go plant shopping and I won't forget what plant I wanted.

It's free. There's always an x when a popup comes up asking you to try out premium. I never did the free trial because I'm not paying anything. Just click x and don't pay. The identification is spot on most of the time and I've identified every "weed" in my yard. (Mostly mulberry tree sprouts that my landlord thinks are weeds, lol.) The ads can be intrusive but just know there is always an x button and don't click pay if you don't want to. :)

I love the app. Very user friendly, accurate and super informative. I like that not only can I catalog my own plants for the pictures & id, but I am able to prevent, diagnose & treat disease, plant together those that thrive together and avoid those that may cause potential issues. As well as plants, I can id birds and insects as well. Absolutely genius! Ty!

UPDATE: This app is sooo useful! I still have a premium membership and couldn't do what I do without it! Apparently there is a free version, but I would go with the paid membership! Worth every penny! It's only a 7-day free trial and then $19.99/year. I never pay for apps and was temporarily frustrated that I had to enter in my credit card info, but this app is worth the money! What would take me hours of research can be completed in an instant!

I've tried every plant ID app and always choose PictureThis ! Please add the ability to save/display plants' Locations! 4/29/22 Update: PLEASE ADD LOCATION SUPPORT! I know users can take copious notes of each plant's data, including documenting its location, but it's unnecessary as Saving Location should be an option that works automatically. As long as Location is enabled & stored in Camera pics' metadata, it can also get pulled into PictureThis when importing or sharing pics from Gallery.

3 stars because you have to pay eventually. Super cool app, occasionally gets plants wrong but it seems to be mostly right. Since it gets plants wrong I don't think it's right to charge people, or at least don't charge as much as you are per year. Maybe $10 per year.

Immediately after getting the 7-day trial, I took a picture of my Alocasia Lauterbachiana and it didn't recognize it. It's not even in their database after typing the name. I needed an app specifically for this plant. Disappointed that the main feature doesn't work accurately. I can't imagine how it can diagnose Plants if it can't recognize. Also, no other subscription worthy feature from other apps out there. I can group by Space, but no configuration options to see if placement is adequate.

Can't use the app without either making an account or signing in through Google. Also to do anything, you must choose a payment plan (with agreement to auto-pay) at the end of a very short trial period. I'd be much more likely to try if I could do so without worrying about forced payment or at least being able to give the app a once over without being blocked from setting it at all. So instead, I'll just be uninstalling.
