Reviews for Norton Family Parental Control
Love it so far
In general, it works. But there are bugs. Sometimes, the block/unblock does not work even with internet access.
Difficult to navigate. Takes multiple times yo open app. Have to refresh multiple times to vet app to work. Wouldn't recommend .
Useless app. It would be great if it worked. First couple of days, it did what intended, but after that, it just went out of control. You think your child device is locked, but it's not. Kids are laughing away, continuing to sit on their phones and play or whatever they do. No control over them whatsoever. Changing curfew time does not have an effect and so on and on and on.... My 14 y.o. son found a way to bypass any restrictions and locks. It shouldn't be that easy.
Too many problems for more stars. I approve a time extension and the kids get shut down anyway. I would like to be able to allow apps after the device is locked down, like WhatsApp etc so they can still communicate. Otherwise it's a useful app. I HAVE REPORTED this to Norton - no response. I HAVE tried the reply, doesn't change anything. Star removed for bad support
Bit pointless. My son can still get into apps by minimising them on his screen.
Do not install is useless
Kys
Buggy bad. Kid can continue watching with split screen. Unlock is a buggy pain. Logs me out instead of remember on my phone etc.
Recently stopped working. Keep asking me to log back in as session timed out. When trying to open it the screen is white.
