Reviews for NetSpot WiFi Heat Map Analyzer
so far, good. still learning
works great for my job
This is an indispensable app for fine tuning your WiFi profile for maximum performance in your neighborhood. See the signal strength and channel of your neighbors and adjust your settings accordingly to avoid overlap.
The best WiFi heatmap tool I could find, and I tried plenty (6 or 7)
efficient
pretty darn good it seems. will keep trialing it and revue my comment later.
could be made a bit more easier
Nice app, but, I get comparisons with access points that are 20 miles away. My home network shows up in the graphs when I am at work. Just the actually available access points please.
This might be a good app, but they don't tell you up front that the scanner is free but to see the heat map you need to get a license.
You say you need a coarse or fine location, And blame Google. but it will only accept the more detailed one. And after setting a bunch of map points then I find out I can't do the heat map Without buying the full version or the desktop version?? Total waste of time.
Worthless app, and their customer support was unfortunately very unhelpful. Edit: I appreciate the response, but I think asking to be able to store the project files (in the desktop app, not the freemium mobile app that I'm reviewing here) somewhere else than appdata folder was a reasonable request.
Why do you need to collect my location and wifi details if you are not going to use them. For most, the App will not work as android blocks it.
