Reviews for n7player Music Player

I've been using this app for several years, different versions. Mostly I like it quite a bit because n7 can play all my music file formats. It's simple to use and has unique interface with artist displayed as text or album art covers. I like the balance control and the mono option. Ten band EQ is nice also. What I don't like is no matter which version I've used or which device, it's always the same the EQ stops working after a few songs This needs to fixed!! EQ is useless keeps crashing!!

This app solved a long time problem for me with missing album covers and the same image being used for half of my library, and the interface is very good. the only issue is that the home screen being the "surface" is unappealing and a setting to change the default screen to your library rather than a collage list of artist names would make this app pretty much perfect.

I'm not a huge fan of the surface interface, at least let us theme the text color so it's less in your face. But I only bought this app to play music while I'm on a call and it looks like it works great at task! If there were a way to login to streaming music services like Amazon through the app so we can stream while on a call, this app would be 👌🏼

Great player. Beautiful and unique management of music through Surface UI, there is also classic Library view if you like it more. Natively recognises Opus files. I've run into two problems so far. First "Now playing" isn't available in Library view mode (it used to be in earlier ver). And second for many artists it downloaded wrong image and it can't be changed (I'm referring to artist image in library, not album cover).

What's good to excellent. n7player has the best album cover finder out there. Much of my collection has come from converted cassettes and venal to CD, then copied over to my pc. Much of them came from the early 70s. Somehow, n7player found all of them, amazing. Unfortunately this is where the excellence ends. What's bad The app found it hard to find my entire library and what made it even more frustrating was that it couldn't play most of the tracks. I think it can only cope with mp3 files. It then goes on to flash this information on the screen and it doesn't seem to have any way to stop it. Where as a free player like Musicolet can cope with masses of formats therefore plays everything It doesn't have a very good interface, unlike apps like Dub Music player which has a massive range of great options, this has none. Further, this has to be paid for after a seven day trial. Then you lose the graphic equaliser and other features that are free with other players. My verdict, If the album art finder was stand alone and the findings could be used for libraries in other music apps, then it would be worth concerning paying for. But what with the uninspiring interface and the fact that it can't play so much. I'd have to give it a low rating. A music player that can't play music isn't of much use.

If you go into an album/artist page from search the only way to get back to the main menu is to completely close and reboot the app, shuffle and "play next" don't work very well, music streaming also requires you to download another app (which is terrible and half in Russian) and doesn't work at all which is a total waste of time. Every update that solves some problems (and admittedly does very nice things to the UI) causes different problems.

Once upon a time, this was a top shelf app. Those days are long gone. Zero updates in possibly over a year. My phones OS has updated at least a half dozen times since installing n7. App shuts down randomly, stutters through playback and seems to be sucking battery life. It had to go. Too bad. It truly WAS a great app. No longer.

The interface is terrible. It shows the wrong song playing all the time, and makes it very confusing to select next song. Even uninstallation or restarting doesn't solve the problem. Also the exit from the program is quite messy. Potentially a good piece of software, but marred by bugs and an obvious lack of commitment from the developers to fix problems. At best, try it out, but don't expect much. At worst, avoid completely.

I bought the app due it's possibility to work with compilations. Also i like the look and feel of the app. Sad to say it wasn't worth it, the app crashes during the scan of the select folder again again and again.... The Routine that shopuld collect the mp3 tags into the library seems completely rubbish. For now, it's NOT working at all.
