So far I've enjoyed this game. Graphics are good. Price's are crazy expensive. Takes to long and to much to build everything. I've played over a year now. This is a money game. If you don't pay you go no where. I believe the friendships built in the game is what keeps most players playing. The Gold event is ridiculous. Once you get to a certain level you're lucky to receive 1 point. The ridiculous amount of points needed. This is a money pit.
The game COULD be great, if there was an even playing field. Total money grab. Chinese alliances always overtake the kingdom because they get everything much cheaper than everyone else. So therefore you either spend or get pushed out. I've been playing for 6 years and have started over in new kingdoms hoping for a better outcome more times than I can count. It never changes. I stay for the people. You meet good friends. But honestly it's not worth the time and money
Been playing for quite a while now. No way you can succeed without paying. Level 35 requires almost 800 'noble badges' and they're $10 for 43....or you can wait 6 months to gather them through events...and another 2 months to upgrade with millions of resources. 100% pay to play. I decided to stop spending after $200/month for a while and I literally can not grow anymore 😐
It's fun for a while but there are just so many updates within updates it becomes too strategic to be actually fun for people who are busy. I like the map setup. There are too many intricate steps in evolving that make it less enjoyable, when you have to upgrade five other things before one basic thing. It feels like a lot less action and a lot of reading. It's setup style has the potential to be as fun as Age of Empires if they change some things.
