Reviews for iTranslate Translator
Pricing: offers a very short free trial, which will immediately sign you up for a yearly subscription (40 dollars), I suggest getting a monthly (5 dollars) if you will be using it rarely or want to demo it properly. My experience trying to use photo translation for spot Japanese translation was underwhelming, and as this was the primary reason for getting this app I can not recommend it. It might have more success with more conventional type sets.
For translating a voice: I tested it with my grandma who speaks French. It was able to pick up what she said once, but it didn't translate. When she tried again (twice) it couldn't understand her. I'm not sure about the other features but the voice translating feature is a miss.
Forces you to subscribe at the ridiculously high price of $39.99 per year if you dont cancel within a week. The annoying part is there is NO LINK to cancel. Even the button to email support does nothing. Not only that, but the app does nothing more than google translate (free) and doesnt have the language I need to translate (Mayan) anyways. Useless and scammy. BEWARE!
No way to refuse paying for the app!! No way to cancel it!! You have to wait for for the 7 day trial to run out i guess, but then you have to pay!!
Requires money, and anything that requires money to operate is a waste of time, space, and absolutely stupid. Free version is useless by the ways, because its very limited.
The app doesn't have voice translation unless you pay for it. So you would have to give your phone to a stranger to type the thing they are trying to say.
