I downloaded this app for the aesthetic appeal and experience. It does not fail to capture awesome pictures. However you have to pay to preserve the photos. I was not aware of this. Another app does the same thing but saves the photos. Sadly I took pictures to celebrate my birthday with this app and thought my pictures had downloaded to my phone. However it came out corrupted even though in the app it looked great. Sadly I didn't realize this until after I accidentally erased the app. I only took pictures with this app and there is no option to recover and now those pictures are gone forever. Many people have gone through this that I'm aware of. I have messaged the developer countless times. And no response. I hope those in charge can create a method to retrieve lost and deleted photos. Hopefully this will alert the creator. I love this app but the fact that this app does not protect and even physically download the photos themselves to the app is nonsense and creates these types of dilemmas. Now I am aware that you have to pay to have these pictures saved in the phone automatically. This came at the cost of losing precious memories. At least keep the photos in the app which is also an option you have to pay. Make an update and the option to recover photos that were deleted. Please see this comment and my emails. It's heartbreaking I have lost those memories forever. Do something take action and help those of us who are going through this.

It's wonderful, I've taken some amazing photos with this app. There are some bugs, like it fails when opening sometimes and when you press the shutter button it doesn't stop developing, but these are all things I am perfectly capable of cleverly bypassing for the sake of a nice aesthetic photo.

It's been very nostalgic using this app to photograph, just like back in the day! It is easy to use & has a pleasing aesthetic with its random light effects. It's a surprise every time how your photos are going to "develop". At times, I feel like that features takes a little bit longer than I would like, especially when I'm trying to continuously capture photos. But I'm so happy to have stumbled across another way to enjoy photography.

I loved this app. I recently got the premium version and was enjoying it. Then today the app wasn't working. After restarting my phone, force stopping, clearing cache, looking in the description here in the play store & following the directions. Nothing was working. I couldn't get the app to open, so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. I couldn't get my premium back or repurchase it, there was an error message each time. Please let me know when this gets fixed, I won't be using this until then.

I'd been enjoying use the app for about half a year now and decided to finally bite the bullet and purchase the pro version. Unfortunately I have not been able to access it so I will be canceling my account, deleting the app, and contacting my bank as soon as possible because I have never been able to use the premium features I paid for the app always says unavailable or trying to open it causes endless buffering

I've had this app for about 2 years now. it has crashed twice since then and I lost ALL of my photo's and memories from the past two years that I captured. if there's any way I can fix this problem please let me know because I don't want to capture my life and then it all be just gone like that. but besides that I have to worry about this app is my absolute favorite. so maybe if you add like a log in process that could work! it would make this app more better! -M

I love the app when it actually works. But now Huji won't open. Every time I click on it, it says "app has stopped" or "Huji cannot open" this happened to me a few months back and I'm not willing to let it slide this time. I'm not losing all of my pictures for a second time. That's what ended up happening last time. Not fun. I don't have the premium version so I have a lot of pictures on the app that don't save to my camera roll. Very frustrating.

This app shut down on me during a vacation and I thought I lost all those photos BUT IF YOUR APP DOESN'T OPEN AND YOU HAVENT SAVED PHOTOS: a couple comments down someone mentioned going to the app permissions, removing camera access, then open the app and click resolve issues. It gave me the option to save all the photos in the app to my phone library and IT WORKED! I will download again if the issues are fixed in the future, I loved this app. really dissapointed.

I've used huji for over a yr now and loved how the filter would develop my photos vibrant and vintage. As of a few days ago the app refuses to open and won't allow me to even access any of my photos due to the app crashing while trying to open it . If I can at least get the app to open so I can save my photos to my device I'll be less stressed. I've enjoyed using the app up until now since it won't open up for me. I've reached out by email and still no response :(

I loved this app and used it every day instead of my normal camera. I purchased the premium package this past summer and recently got a new phone. When I tried to download it on my new phone I hoped I would be able to have access to my premium purchase, or even buy it again because it was inexpensive, but every time I try to access the premium features I'm prompted to make the purchase - every time I try to make the purchase I receive an error message stating "error: you already own this item" and another that says "try again in a few minutes." - meaning not only is it impossible to restore my purchase, it's also impossible to purchase the premium features a second time (which I was perfectly willing to do, had the option been available to me.) I've emailed the app developer on the website provided 9 days ago, and just saw another email in the privacy policy that I've reached out to today. This is a pretty lame situation because at this point I've already downloaded alternate apps trying to figure out something similar enough to the photos this app produced, and it's fine, I just preferred this one before. If "Jeon Jeon" from "Manhole" reads these things - make the option to restore a purchase available, or at least give people the option to buy again, I don't know the source of the bug, but it's irritating.
