I have spent hours trying to figure out how to connect my trip to my pass. read "work arounds" which apparently no longer work. just 1 button is needed. since cant connect a trip to get ticked this seems like a waster $2000! No response to email either. I have used this in paper form many times over the years with no problem. they need to IMMEDIATELY fix the problem so I can use it in a couple of days! But since this was a problem 10 months ago too, not likely.

I never review things, but my experience has been so poor that I need to share so others might avoid this nuisance of a product. The lack of information feels intentional in order to mislead people into purchasing this nearly useless pass. If you want to meander through Europe by going to a station and picking a random train, this might be for you. If you want to plan a trip in advance, don't bother. My trip is 5 months away, and Every. Single. Leg. of my trip is "unavailable". Don't bother.

Pretty much a pricy lottery ticket. They made it seem like i could use it on certain trains between Lyon and Nice, and it showed the itinerary so I bought the pass and went to make a reservation. Surprise! Not accepted, no space left. Why did it make it look like there was space when i was searching for itineraries? I tried to reserve a different itinerary but the next surprise was that they weren't accepted in southern France at all. Guess I lose.

App is great for showing available routes, but going between countries, it's impossible to use for reservations, even if first class. The only person who could book our reservation was the conductor; no one else even knew how. Not even on the phone. Ridiculous, especially given the price.

Reservation system is unnecessarily complex. Whether you need a reservation can change at the last minute. Not having tickets show up in the app is a big issue. Multi-stage trips can overwhelm the options, for example, you have to have your inbound trip to your home country as a single trip and the limited options for this forced us to book a later train than necessary.

What a superb app. I've been travelling around Europe for a week so far, and was nervous at first because of some of the comments here. But the app is so easy to use, it does have options for trains that don't need reservations. The journey times and stations are clear - although of course not always real time for delays etc. In conjunction with the website, for some specific trains eg the Bernina Express you have to go to other sites and do a bit more research but I'm really impressed.

Do not download! It never worked properly on my phone. The reservation system didn't work + other reasons but the main fault was after using it for a short time I couldn't access my rail pass so I couldn't travel. The app told me I was offline when I wasn't and after that an error message appeared and I couldn't use it. I unsuccessfully tried deleting/reinstalling. Support was useless - it took 2 weeks for them to reply to my email (there's no phone number) and their response was unhelpful.

I'm deeply disappointed with this app and especially the feature that requires you to set up first day of travel without even having an active train schedule or a ticket. I entered the day of the night train departure, and later found out it counts only the next day as a travel one, when I tried to change it, I couldn't because it was less than 24 hours till my trip and therefore I lost a whole day of traveling, customer support was totally absent and replied to me after more than two weeks.

Superb app. My experiences with other public transport apps have been very mixed, but the ease of use on this one is great. The only things missing that would make this perfect are in-app booking of reservations, as well as information on platform and delays.

It's better than it was but still requires improvement. Train availabilities don't match the website. If they are accessing the same database then they should display same timetables. However, website has more trains eg. Venice to Bologna only shows trains which require reservations on the app but website shows fast trains that don't require reservation, therefore don't cost extra. Also app is misleading because it implies that you can make reservations from within the app. NOT True.
