Busuu: Learn & Speak Languages

I have been using Busuu for over a week and I have really enjoyed the app. It keeps you engaged and does not get too repetitive. Repetition is important in learning a new language, but it does not go over the line into monotony. I also enjoy getting feedback from native speakers and offering corrections in return in my native language. I will augment my review in a few months!

Really enjoying the app so far. Great mix of teaching concepts and practicing. Great speech detection (trying to speak French). Good mix of speaking, typing, reading, and multiple-choice selection exercises. Very snappy interactivity. Love the community feedback, it feels like we're all in an online class together. Highly recommend for learning a language.

Requiem

After using Busuu for over six months, I can say without a doubt that it is the best language app on the market. Others have their strengths, but nothing comes close to Busuu. With the different levels of learning, the community driven feedback, and the overall well-made interface. Busuu is a must for any wanting to learn a language for work, culture, or fun.

I really like using Busuu so far. I've had this for a little over a month and I've been using mostly the Spanish course. It's been realativly fun to do a little bit of extra study each day. I love the placement tests for the languages that have them. Only complaint is that this is definitely a textbook in app form, don't expect to be playing this like some game.

It was so promising. Duolingo fell through with adding limiters on practicing, and basically shoving it in your face that you'll need to pay premium to actually learn. Mistakes are part of learning, you shouldn't be punished when it comes to learning a language. I saw that someone recommended this in Duo's review, and went to look for it. Sign-up was fast, but as soon as it said my use of the app was limited... I just lost all reason to use it. Ads are a better way to monetize. Easy.
