Reviews for Blade Master
Very good. Has a good balance of difficulty. Can get repetitive. But usually it's still fun. They also not pushy when it comes to ingame purchases. Style is simple and yet very detailed with small animations that bring it to life. Please note that on stage 102 there is a missing block of the wall on the bottom left hand side of the screen at the start of the stage.
Its a good time killer if you want a game thats easy and requires almost no skill. It took getting use to but i really appreciate the tap to continue feature. The optional ads make it easy to just farm money. If you die you just watch a quick ad to revive. I like the upgrade features as well as graphics its got a good feel to it. Music is pretty generic and has a bad authenticity about it. Like im playing a flash game from 08. Overall not a bad game to chill to.
The game is great, but it only goes to level 199.... There's characters we can unlock that are only achievable from getting to level 200, and 250.... But if we can't even make it to level 200, because it stops at 199, it's kind of frustrating...:/ It's been a bit since it was updated, could we see about getting one soon?
Very cool idea and simplistic enough for some light gaming. It would have been a great experience if some content, for example the companion and multiplying of rewards weren't only obtainable by watching ads. You cannot even get them by saving up in-game currency or buying it with in-game purchases, and you were practically forced to watch ads perpetually. Would be cool if there was a level selection feature as well for people who want to replay past levels.
Game LOOKS 1,000x cooler than it is to play. Completely ad driven. Weapons & character upgrades make zero discernible difference in gameplay. Only allow extremely repetitive progression to watch more ads. & you won't advance w/o "upgrades" earned from ads. Game designed so advance increments are too small to play w/o watching ads w/ i-net connection. Also, it'd make a much better arcade or console game than touchscreen.
Cool and fun game to pass the time, upgrades are nice and simple. You go in, slash some things, you go out. However I don't like the fact that you HAVE to keep your hand in the control. Otherwise the game would force you into a pause, for a fast phased game... This is very annoying, It ruins the whole atmosphere just from a simple finger slip or quick rest.
The game is good, the controls are fine and the overall designs are nice. However, there are too many bugs in this game. When I try to replay a previous level, the character disappears and the screen freezes. The ads are disappointing and if I accidentally click on them, it does not load and just got stocked saying, "Loading." Also, the settings does not remember my choice on turning off the sounds.
This is a really cool game with great concept, I even started recording this game for YouTube. However after stage 40, the game is so hard that you have to watch ads for coins and energy... And what's moreover, you can even run out of ads for these things, so then you have to wait... :( | Edit: There are only 59 levels, so you can't even unlock 2 last effects. Don't waste your time...
First impression: a fun concept with clipped wings, dragged into the gutter by the shameless optimization of ads instead of the gameplay experience (particularly with the short levels). It's like eating chips with no salt or ketchup. You'll enjoy it somewhat but the experience is lacking some finishing touches. And every few chips you're offered more chips. I'm at Level 26, hopefully the levels get longer and harder. Also, make the mid-game pause while not touching the screen optional.
The game itself is pretty good, but the energy limit sucks and the energy cost is WAY too high! It costs 5 energy every time you play, even if you die at the very beginning there is no restart option you have to waste another 5 energy just to play the same level again. Had it installed for less than 6 minutes I got to level 4 before I uninstalled it.
