Installation
When unpacking the archive with the file, you will be prompted to enter a password
- Download the XAPK installation application, e.g, APKPure or File Manager .
- Open the downloaded XAPK installation application and locate the downloaded XAPK file.
- Follow the instructions in the application to install the XAPK file.
- Allow installation from unknown sources: Go to 'Settings' > 'Security' (or 'Biosecurity & Safety') > enable 'Unknown sources' or 'Install from unknown sources' for your browser or file manager. On newer smartphone models, permission is requested when the individual file is installed and no unnecessary steps need to be performed..
- Install the APK file by following the on-screen instructions.
- Restore security settings by disabling permission to install from unknown sources.

BCBS APP IS EXCELLENT
Mdlive used to work in the app. But now it doesn't let me upload photos even with permissions. The whole app is not very user friendly. It's not particularly smooth and never use a back button when searching for providers. The user experience is somewhat a struggle. App design can be better. Functionality can be at times challenging. Cost estimator is very limited. List of providers can be better with MAP integration.
Not sure what the developers are doing with this app. It continously prompts me to with Close App or Wait the entire time I have it open. Android has the latest updates, the app has no available updates and functionality is glitchy as reported by countless others. Often times when trying to select a feature like "Member ID Card", it states 'Something Went Wrong' and Try Again. I'll just avoid using it and stick to the web.
This is app is gotten slightly better about login fails but now has server issues when trying to login. This app's problems makes the situation 100x more stressful when you need it to work in an emergency to find an in-network provider so you don't get bankrupted by insane out-of-network costs just trying to get your kid medical care.
Too many errors, & glitches. I JUST downloaded it TODAY. It took about an hr. to get passed the user name, & passwrd prompt because, it fails to tell you what "error" is made even when all the green is marked. After changing everything about 10 x's even I was on it long enough to get my son's ID card. 2 hours later it's not letting me log back in. Why advertise "an easy way" when it's in fact hard, & frustrating. For a HUGE insurance company 1 would expect an easy app. & tech. support. Nope.
Insurance app that has no "billing" section. Yes you got that right, you can't use this app to pay your premiums.
I am trying to verify my email, and every time I return to app, its sending me new CODE to verify, ITS A LOOP!! can you fixed that thin! Terrible app from beginning..
Inaccurate information re "in network" participants regarding current status and specialty. Also, CLAIMS ARE NOT DISPLAYED. Receive error msg to try again. Eventually displayed some claims with most recent FROM LAST YEAR. STOP uploading your updates to the app until you've TESTED your changes!!!!!!!
